I'm from North Carolina and used to go to Cape powders all the time. Always had small blue fish like you're catching for short breakfast. Got all the red meat out. Soak them in milk 10-15 minutes. Roll in Italian bread crumbs frying olive oil. Good fish if you eat them same day.
Thanks for another great and informative video Blane. Super fun to watch you! Hope everything's going well with thunder and his ear infection/s. Saw you giving him medicine in one of your past videos, remember those days. They weren't the best, so I know what you're going through. Anyway, thanks again brotha. You know I appreciate everything you do. I'll keep following and supporting. One day we'll meet up for sure, and I can get that expert guidance on the beach from you! God bless
@@panhandlesalt I was looking at the Ninja Dagger Bummy Stick but 10’ might be a little too big for a casting rod. I am taking up surf fishing as a hobby for when I retire to the Panama City area of the Florida panhandle and I am gearing up from scratch . Any advice on rod and reels would be appreciated. I am planning on carrying 4 set ups for set rig fishing such as Pompano and Drum etc…. and 1 set up for casting into whatever is popping the water along the beach.
@@panhandlesalt would you use Bummy Stick for set rig Pompano fishing? I was thinking maybe get two 12’ rods and maybe two 10’ rods to Pomp and Drum fish????? I haven’t bought any rod and reels yet. I like saving money as much as the next guy but I don’t mind spending good money buying the right equipment the first time around. That’s why all the questions. Thanks for your help/advice

I don’t think so. Might just be out at the moment.
Cape Hatteras
What size rod and reel is best for walking the beach casting for Blues, etc….???
In between 7-9. 3000-4000 series reel will do it.
