For the first time I see a car that doesn't sound like crap when it goes over 5,000 rpm, I can't believe it and it's a Chevrolet according to Lacetti, which here in Latin America is nothing more than an Optra, but it sounds very good even so our Dude under the tinted glass I don't sound like trash, This cart behaved well despite the fact that around here they are underestimated due to their poor quality, but look, I have tried one and they are not so bad. Thank you friend car tester, what a hard job on yours jajajaja saludos amigo.
Do you know, how fast you were going, Sir? Officer, I don't, swear to God. I drive an old Korean car :D. (Had my 05 Hyundai Accent have the same problem - speedometer either worked, or was dead. Sad thing is, if it goes with 0 km/h, the Odometer is not counting either..) Underpowered engine - it was not designed for today''s standards, gets the job done. Stellar little car, still. Minimal to no wear inside, sounds okay. There was the WTCC version. Spicy looks, same performance. My only ick is the instrument cluster; why not give it a simple font? The way the numbers look make me think of a PT Cruiser.. it does not suit it.
Quick question for chevrolet owners in europe while we're on the topic of a chevrolet video. How hard is it to get parts for your vehicle now that chevrolet doesn't operate here anymore and how smart of a decision is it to buy a used chevrolet now or should you buy something else instead?
In the US, we had this car badged as a Suzuki!
Must have been a Daewoo, not a Suzuki
@@jaczinanorbi5669 he's right, USA sold it as Suzuki Reno and Suzuki Forenza...
Suzuki Forenza but 2.0 and automatic nd MPH not km=/h
@@jaczinanorbi5669 no its Suzuki forenza.
In Canada it was sold as the Chevrolet Optra

Hello from Bulgaria. there are parts at any auto parts store, they are easy to find. these cars are also often used as taxis
Why the odometer does not work?
Cus old car
Stupid question. Because is damaged!!!
I have the same car but with 1.6-engine. My speedometer isn't working either. Can anybody know the problem and how to fix?
Think the lacetti has turned into a lasagne over time. Blimey that was slow!
This one is the underpowered cheap version. 1.6 liter 108hp/150nm version was the most popular one. It was very plenty for it's era and it's use case.
I had a jew girlfriend who got this 1.4 16v lacetti, she let me drive it, was fun but the gearbox is not precise enough.
