Just want to say, not all new phones have 5G. Motorola Stylus still comes in 4G only models which will save you quite a bit of money over a 5G variant. There are a few others as well that don't come with 5G support.
Where I live it's better to have 4g because I have both, my 5g is slow buggy and takes forever to load videos or even download anything which takes forever compared to my 4g which is a steady service bar and doesn't have problems with downloading and watching videos as well as using the hotspot at the same time but as for my 5g? Well it can barely hold a 15 second short while trying to update, so far 5g sucks
4G/LTE def seems faster here in the country compared to 5G. I can’t game without lag on 5G unless I switch to LTE. I’ve been in very bad dead zones on standalone 5G, but as soon as I switch to 4G, I have service.
I just lost my 5G coverage switching to a cheaper carrier that only offers 4G. I find no difference on my iPhone 13. I can watch videos, stream music, surf the web and social media just as good on LTE as I could on 5G. Maybe if I was using a desktop on LTE vs 5G instead of a mobile phone, its very minimal difference. 20 Gbit connection is not needed at all on a cell phone. Also way better rural coverage on LTE and especially 3G vs 5G. The range of the tower is just better on LTE. (We still have 2G and 3G coverage here in Canada on 850MHz)
I have an iPhone 14 Pro. And it’s five gees course. But when I visit a friend they have slow Internet. They still use LTE on their phone and I seem to cannot connect. What can I change on my iPhone to go and connect without Wi-Fi remember it is slow old equipment at their house. I hope somebody can answer it for me because I’m learning so so much about this stuff.
It's not even megabytes or gigabytes per second. It's MegaBITS and GigaBITS per second. That's why it's not MBps but Mbps. A bit is 8 times smaller than a byte. So if you got a speed of 50Mbps, you won't get 50 megabytes downloaded every second. You'll only get 6.25 MB every second. So it's kinda an important difference that you're ignoring
I live only 0.29 miles away from the T-Mobile tower that is using B25, B41, and B71 for 5G and B2, B4, B12, B66, and B71 for 4G LTE and on my Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone from inside my bedroom, I'm getting 1,200/50 over 5G and 200/25 over 4G LTE. However, I can now stream 4K from UA-cam and other streaming services without it buffering anymore over 4G LTE.
Even though I love the outline of your video, you need to answer questions as to what the last model year was for 4G phone, as well as what are the health effects between 4G technologies LTE, as well as the 5Z millimeter wave technology that is a military technology, and it adds a high degree of radiation as further reports coming out of the country of France these days for the iPhone 12s so please do another video addressing the health effects of 4G LTE and 5G millimeterwave technologies. Please thank you and have a great rest of the year.!!!😇🌟🖖📲
As technology ever "advances" forward, everyone gets star struck at the faster/ better/newer aspects without considering, "yeh, but is it safe? Can it cause adverse health side effects?" Everybody be like, "it's faster, so who cares?" Or worse, "they wouldn't make it if it weren't safe". Generally speaking, not everything that can be done in science and tech, should be done.
Please go take a few minutes to research what radiowaves actually are so you can have a better understanding than what the random uneducated internet conspiracies you read had to say. Be smarter and research the science for yourself.
I Love T-Mobile been with them since 2018 and got the note 10 plus 5G the moment 5G came out it wasnt worth it at the time but i was ready for when it hit michigan lol
It's ace, you are not falling into the annual iPhone upgrade cycle, your 5 will fit in your pocket easily and you can use your hotspot to run WiFi on your iPad 9. I have in iPhone SE 2016 and tether my android tablet WiFi to it.
Not weird my guy i had to upgrade twice my iphone 7 stopped using data outta no where and then my 11 had its wear and tear on the charger port upgrade when u feel like it and if u want it but if the 5 is still goin strong for u my guy then ur all good G
5g is insanely good. My 4g line was close ro 100 bucks, my 5g was half that at 50. So it was a no brainer to change over. Also the internet speed is 100x over 4g. Extremely happy. Not everywhere gives me these speeds but most importantly my house have full 5g coverage so it brilliant.

We were in Seattle and my friends 5 g phone was not getting reception and our 4 vs phone had full antenna.
I don't notice a difference at all between 4 and 5g, if anything 5g seems slower
It is. Unless you have optimal signal
Facts!
Getting the most from 5g will depend on your phone carrier,I love 5g on my at&t phone.
It also depends what service plan you have, I’ve noticed that, my iPhone 13 mini is horrible with my 30$ metro plan
5g is slower, we still can't even fully use 4g to full potential. 5g is a very dumb and unreasonable system
Well if you use t-mobile there is a high chance that your area has very good 5g support
I almost always get wayy faster speeds on LTE on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Still nice to have 5G though for future proofing.
A man that works on phones for a living was saying every 5 g phone he has taken apart that there isn't even the 5 g chip in it.
Really
Not true
no offence but such a claim needs some serious backing
I already have bad 4G coverage where I am. I can't imagine the 5G coverage in my area to be better than the 4G coverage.

I have 5G UW here at Walmart. No issues at all with my Galaxy S23 Ultra and Verizon. It's the best!

Strange though when I measure the download/upload speeds it says 5G is a lot faster

Is it actual 5g? There is SA and NSA "Stand Alone" "Non-Stand Alone" or are we having an amplified LTE???
You’re saying 20 gigs a second??
For a phone?
Thats impossible … you’re confused
When talking gigabyte , megabytes megabits
Etc etc etc

What game was he playing at the end?
"It's been five years since 5G has came out, but even if you don't have a phone that does not support it..." What is happening to people's grammar?
If you want a 4G phone today, buy a 4G phone. In a year or two, u might upgrade to 5G and get real 5G coverage without paying for it higher power draw.
Sometimes 5G is better coverage than 4G like inside buildings like where i work 4G gets 3 bars 5G gets full bars
