To those asking who we are, we're just Heather and Andrew...that's about it If you're wondering about the bread, wine and foot washing we got the idea from Jesus in the Bible. Our whole lives are about following Jesus and helping people know him. In the Bible, in John 13 Jesus is about to be crucified so that he could show his love for us and take away our sins that keep us far from relationship with God. He humbled himself and washed the feet of his disciples to show them what the love of God is like: he bends down and washes our dirtiness away so that we can be clean. Heather and I want to love each other and others like Jesus loves, so we washed each other's feet to show that we are committed to serving, not being served. In Luke 22, we see another account of the same meal. Jesus institutes what we call communion or the Lord's supper. He told us that the bread represents his Body that was broken for us and the wine shows his blood that he gave for us. When we take this meal in faith, we are remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made so that we could be in relationship with God. Heather and I did this together as a commitment to God, each other and the world that we will live fully committed to a passion for Jesus and his purposes in the earth We're really glad yall are encouraged but know one thing. Its easy to get the illusion we've lived perfect lives and our relationship is perfect and that's why we are happy. We haven't been perfect and our relationship has been work just like everyone else's . This video isn't showing perfect people being perfectly in love, its showing two people who were really broken but Jesus loved so much that he made them whole again and taught them to live and love. If you need that, you don't need a good video or marriage, you need to give your whole life to Jesus and he will make you new. It won't be easy after that but it will be everything you're really looking for. Don't buy in to "our religion", know that God is alive and that he loves you so much that he made a way to be in relationship with you- no matter what you've done or haven't done, no matter who you are or aren't. Fast forward six years and here i am, saved and have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. Thank you Andrew and heather for putting Christ as the center of your wedding, had you not I wouldn’t be where I am today 💓

Your ceremony makes me burst into tears because of the immense love, not just for each other, but more importantly to God. The scene where you and your wedding party are all worshipping just touches me to no end. If I could replicate only one thing from this wedding, it would be that worship! What a better way to begin life together than in Christ! This is my wedding "role model". :)
