That first scene was wild. That guy seems legit nice, regaling you with a story about narrowly escaping being mauled by a bear. Then in an instant, everyone but you is dead and you’re running alone in the darkness
A cool kind veteran with bear stories to tell, an act of betrayal followed by a show of humility and humanism, the random quiet fisherman joining the squad, the heartwarming show of comradery. Instantly wiped out in a massacre as our protagonist pulls Tom Cruise like stunts to get out. That was like a full movie in five minutes.

The pump action shotgun is the most weirdly inconsistent gun in this game from my experience

The pump shotgun has consistently let me down every time I’ve used it, at first I thought I just had a bad aim until I point blank shot someone in the back and nothing happened. 🤦🏻♂️

That hip fire SKS shot through the chicken coop is one of the craziest shots I've ever seen.
nah... if you play DayZ enough you can experience more. Once, I killed a car driver from 200m(When I went there, drivers headgear was ruined) and the car crashed into other teammates car and cars bugged into each other, when I go for the loot I saw that there are 3 dead bodies on each car so I killed 6 guys with one bullet and also one of the cars was still in good condition. DayZ is a weird game...

900hrs in this game and you sometimes come out covered in sweat after a raid. Or when you're in an intense fight and you mistake your heartbeat for the footsteps. There ain't no other game for me with moments like this
@@halo-7797 I agree with u man, tarkov may be kinda "faster" game but dayz is just...like ur irl heartbeats are matched with ones in game
@@illswift5 While it's good it doesn't do it for me as much, probably because you can assemble an untouchable stash of goods and be right back where you left off within minutes, same place and same level of gear, not so in DayZ.
Plus the lack of open world / server sizes / PVE elements means there's less chaos and unpredictability, and if you make your way far inland dying is a much bigger penalty than spawning in on FPS sized maps, so you really want to live. Also while vehicles at times can suck they also add another element

@@willm678 he heard him coming, just like we did. it was a stranger, seemingly. I wish being friendly was more practically viable in this game but everyone wants to KOS or backstab. you see all these videos of people having a really good time with strangers but it's virtually impossible.
@@GhostShip94 yeah it was kind of a sad clip because of the circumstances. 3 strangers that just happened to meet up, one of them having recently lost his friends and trying not to die out there in the cold, just for them to be wiped out in front of him and forcing Smoke to go back to being alone. Like a scene from a movie.
I’ve always though dayz is the closest game to what a real survival situation would be. People aren’t friendly (with the exception of the few that are), you have to fight for every bit of food, water, ammo, and shelter you get; all the while you’re under the threat of other players wanting to kill you or rob you blind. At least that’s how it was when I played it. I could never really get any good at it since I’d just always die

The speed Smoke. handled that first encounter was epic. Door opens and guy wipes out 2 guys, Smoke shuts the door, loots the gun, the ammo, the keycard all before the shooter tries to get in, he comes in just as smoke is going out, Smoke sidesteps to dodge the shot in the back whilst opening the door, then zig zags his way out of being shot at point blank range.....crazy stuff......
Dude I've been playing dayz since the mod days and the game still surprises me to this day with the amount of shit that can go down. Your videos are REALLY doing the game justice and you keep raising the bar. This is what I'd show to someone who would ask me "what is dayz". Keep it up brother. Peace and love.
