Tony is 3 steps away from being Pauly Shore.
The weird thing for me is that I was in my prime with exercise when I started having panic attacks. Panic attacks kept me from being able to go work out. When I made it to the Gym, I would be dead tired after 10 minutes and couldn't work out at all. It finally slacked off a little. You have to learn how to meditate and have to learn how to calm yourself down. Focus on things that soothe the mind, look at things that aesthetically pleasing, touch things that comfort you. After awhile you learn it, it happens less often, and when it does happen you can work towards making it stop.
definitely do more of these when you can Jeremiah, this was so cool.
Panic Attack:
Imagine hearing a noise, like a high pitched electric buzzing. You hear it and get annoyed by it. You can't tell where it's coming from, but you wish it would fucking stop it's so damn annoying.
A panic attack is a lot like that, except replace the buzzing sound with literally Nothing, and that annoyed feeling with an intense uneasiness. Having no physical stimulus or real reason for the sensation is an unsettling thing in itself too.

love the panic discussion, I feel like I have ptsd flashbacks from acid periodically. the burping and the pressure in the chest makes so much sense, especially since ive learned about the vagus nerve and how it also relates to that pseudo heart attack feeling

What a great idea to podcast this. This is the best episode yet. I felt like i was right there with you guys having a road trip with buddies.

The panic attack talk was cool to hear from you guys. I've suffered from crippling panic attacks too, and related to everything you all said.
Zoloft and xanax helped a bunch so the attacks felt mild enough where I could work on building skills that would get me out of an attack. Then with therapy I could ween off of the drugs. It's still a problem I have to deal with, but I have the tools to talk myself down and not have to go to the hospital/stay inside all day.
Also Tony was right, burping helps tremendously. I've never heard that from anyone else, but ginger ale is my vice.

This is definitely a nice change of pace and we would love to continue seeing on the road how you guys are I'm sure I think the only production thing I can say is that a car with better suspension next time because all the vibrations give your audio a very wobbly sound almost like when somebody is talking wall very nervous and their voice shakes a little it kind of sounds like that

i know all too well, too strong of a bong hit, then you look around..start walking back & forth,
its the thoughts that race to the forefront, everything comes at once..panic is all mental, thc overdose in one session bring thoughts you may don't want to think about at that moment..but with any bad trip, just remind yourself, it's temporary, its your brain, its a safe natural plant that's here to help us, not harm, then you chill out. it often happens when you get high alone, or around too many people like festivals. best with other people, same with social drinking is better than drinking alone.
Tony's impressions killed me & this episode was awesome, please do more roadcasts.
