    Muito obrigado, Pr. David. Sou pastor e tenho ouvido bastante suas exposições bíblicas. Uma benção.

    I love your missionary book recommendations. I'd add biographies of William Carey and Amy Carmichael as being almost indispensable preparation for the future missionary.

    Re. Moses and the promised land, remember that Moses _was_ actually allowed into the promised land... long after he died, when he was transfigured along with Jesus and Elijah.

    36:42 Another issue some might have is, if they believe the soul lingers around the body for a time after death, that perhaps it would get burned somehow. But there is no biblical support for those ideas.

    Hi pastor. Does the bible speaks about the left hand of God ?

      "Why the Bible mostly speaks about God’s right hand but not the left hand?"

    Cómo se les ocurre? Fue la amistad mas limpia y pura que existió. Recordar que cuando se encuentra un amigo. Es más preciado que un hermano . No debemos pecar contra la Palabra de Dios

    Those like myself living with a fear of death and doubts might ask themselves, "What is the worst thing that can happen if eternity isn't real?" Well, true, we could die and then not wake up. But if that's the case, you'd never know the difference right? Being dead we wouldn't know we went to sleep and didn't wake up so no harm done. You'll just be unconscious forever and ever. That doesn't seem so terrible.

      The worst thing that can happen, according to the Scriptures, is to die in your sin, not having repented, turned from sin and accepted Christ as Savior and Lord, then, you spend eternity separate from God. John 14:6 /In addition, Revelation 20:15. states that if your name is not in the Lamb's book of life you will be thrown into the lake of fire. Jesus is the Lamb of God.

    God disciples us everyday all day. How? By the power of the Holy Spirit. Feel quilt? Feel shame? Feel regret? These types of negative feelings, that no one likes carrying around as baggage, are the "punishment" for committing a sin. That's my take.

    I've read about people who have had NDE's that were non believers who died, found themselves in hell, begged for mercy and asked Jesus to save them, He did and they survived coming back to this world. Boy, can you imagine how terrifyingly that would be? Stay on the staight and narrow, friends.

    In the Greek language there are 4 words used for our word love. So it's an absolute misunderstanding of this verse to think it meant romantic love.

    • @Margowka1
      @Margowka1 17 годин тому +2

      Agape: Represents selfless, unconditional love.
      Eros: Refers to passionate, romantic love or sexual desire.
      Philia: Represents the love between close friends or comradeship.
      Storge: Denotes familial love, like the love between parents and children.

      But the OT was originally written in Hebrew.
      What David G. said about all this is evidence enough that only perverts would think David and Jonathan were homosexual.

    As you know straight homies are the gayest straight men ever around each other😂 but they aren't gay. I'm gay, and I know they're straight.

    There are already people in Heaven in the book of Revelation while others on Earth are not. So no, we dont all get to Heaven at the same time unless you're talking about the 2nd Heaven after the Millenial reign.

  • @sarafielder3240
    @sarafielder3240 16 годин тому

    Right. There is no evidence they were homosexual. Let's leave it at that. Besides, what's it to YOU? If it bothers you, you have a long way to go toward being a devoted follower of Christ. I don't know this for sure, but if I had to guess, I'd bet Christ was all-inclusive. Christ was non-judgmental.

      @HelloProverbs31 День тому +5

      ... are you really asking your question, knowing we live in a fallen world and that people don't know Jesus and do have questions like that? A better statement would be, " Thank you for touching on a topic so that someone out there who doesn't know Jesus, or is getting to know Jesus finds this video".

    The Holy Spirit can be experienced in a very legitimate way. He is unmistakable! He never complicates prayer questions you have for Him. You gotta get out of His way though. Remember the movie Pinocchio, and how Jiminy Cricket sat on his shoulder to guide him to make correct decisions? It pretty much works like that. Lol🫠
