Samsung Galaxy A14: How To Mirror Screen to TV or SMART VIEW?

Do you need this functionality to to connect to a projector even if you have a USB-C to HDMI cable? I got a projector and connected it but the projector just says No Signal. This seems like it should be a super simple thing to do.

It mirrors only on UA-cam, not smartphone screen. 👎🏻
