As someone who used to throw 1000$ firework shows for his neighbors the ban REALLY pisses me off! I've had to celebrate 4th Of July in a different county or a different state altogether. Yet this year I'm trying something new and going to a drone show in Tigard which should be fun. BTW tanks are one of my favorites too😁
The ban is annoying for us in gresham too, and we have had multiple cases of people yelling at us to stop selling because there's a ban, even though we're in gresham and not Portland. (And yes I do work at the tent shown in the video)
It's so nice to see Bald Eagles again. As a kid, we hardly see them at all because they nearly went extinct. Just seeing one back then was something we'd definitely talk about.

I live in Portland Oregon and I’m a bit disappointed that we in Portland can’t light off fireworks while other Oregon cities can sell and light off. Back then before the 2022 ban, we were allowed to light off fireworks
It's pretty sad that they have banned fireworks again. They really never had any evidence to support it and they just said that it was loud and it causes fires when the ones that cause the fires are the illegal ones that now people are even more encouraged to go get. Always loved that Gresham kept going with it. I do miss Gresham as a whole but we are very happy here in Josephine Texas! Keep on and happy almost 6-year anniversary!
When we 1st moved here in 1979 Vancouver had firecrackers and bottle rockets I think. We bought some then took them back to Troutdale. Then in 80's we got some good stuff from Blackjack in Vancouver. They would sell to anyone who wasn't a resident of Washington even if it was illegal in your state. Loophole. We had to follow them to the Oregon side and they handed it to us our order along with about 25 other groups. Not even kidding!!
Problem is these days they only have smoke and fountains. Nothing that flies or explodes!! You know the good stuff!! My childhood was the best fireworks they are too paranoid these days!!!
Yeah it kinda sucks, since there isn't much competition in selling fireworks, TNT can just jack up the prices however they want, since they don't have many others to compete with in the fireworks business.
I'm sick when I eat a hamburger that wasn't cooked and today. From yesterday's lunch at my day care place I saw your video now I was sleeping last night and got sick from the lunch too. So I got up early. So I wasn't tired tonight.
