There's a reason groups film their concert DVDs in Korea and Japan: the audience is quieter out of politeness. It's cultural: people go to concerts to actually hear the artists-not to overrun their voices by screaming and singing along.

'what i observed about korea fans is that they're mostly very calm - they stay seated throughout the concert, cheer at appropriate timings..' 'In general, k fans are very respectful and the focus is on fan chants. They only sing when they're asked to (usually at the fan project part).' (from online) they do want to be there, i think it's just culture differences
