@@CYGSnu Actually I do have one, Ive always had my own room growing up so Im contemplating what size dorm to apply for. What do you guys think is the best size single double triple or quad?
@@shadowiwnl6444 i think part of the college experience is having a roommate and it’s also helpful to have someone to go to the dining hall/events with during the first week! Even if you’re not friends it will hopefully make you feel less alone in the beginning. Plus you can always get a single your sophomore year after you feel more adjusted. I’ve also only had my own room and I’m an only child so I really had no roommate experience but the adjustment wasn’t bad at all you learn to live with someone really quickly and you still have plenty of options for alone time. I’d say go for a double. You only have to work around one other person’s needs and won’t be too overwhelmed with the living adjustment. Triples rooms can be larger and that’s also not a bad option but you will have an extra person to share a space with, sleep schedule to deal with, weird habits to adjust to, etc lol. If by quad you mean the Lincoln suite, that’s two doubles and you share a bathroom so I’d say that’s still a great doubles option and you definitely have more options for alone time/space with the common room. I’m not aware of an actual quad dorm at northwestern but if there is one I think I would prefer a double or triple that sounds very chaotic lol. Sry for the long response but I hope it helped
This dorm seems hard to beat.. its updated & beach front & many categories of chill + study spots 🤠
