one thing I love about cate and what is being shown here, is that she is a strong, independent and competent female character, which the show tells you through her actions, be it investigating alone, helping people, using her gun competently and so on, while so many modern tv shows either say it out loud by using another character to say it or the showrunners/writers just claim it, while the show doesn't actually portray them as such.

Arcane in general is just such a great collection of "show don't tell" examples. The fight between Ekko and Jinx in episode 7, Silco's face after Sevika killed Finn, the statue scene...
All the women are badass in "Arcane."

I love it! Very slick editing. And idk if it was intentional or not but I liked how you had Cait sliding down into the undercity to match to the "heaven won't take me back" lines!

I love how Cait always try to solve problem in a way that doesn't escalate vioolence. With Jinx she should not have been so nice. But at the same time she never faced such a crazy person. She didn't have enough experience & knowledge to solve things well.
Unpopular opinion: Caitlyn is the best character in Arcane.

@@shaelyn_world9501 Well she is the most complex character and I think many underestimate their social skills, live experience and knowledge of psychology. You'd have to have stoic attitude and lots of emotional inteligence to save her. Oh not to mention some cannot see how abusive Silco & Jinx relationship was. Plus liking character on screen and liking a person like that in real life is a very different thing

I also like how animation gets less confusing between mix of 2D and 3D when we see her as opposed to when we see moments with Jinx. As if to show that she is better at changing perspectives which is important for cognitive empathy

Some of her haters say she is just a goodie two shoes. But they don't see that she risked her life for Vi. Cait did not really have to sell her gun.
Plus the very fact that Cait is lesbian is undecent coz she is supposed to continue line of Kiramans. So Caitlyn being lesbian is a stain on Kiramans rep. You haven't seen gay couples raising kids in Arcane, have you? Plus I am not that sure Piltover is fine with gays. Some would say that Viktor not hidding he is gay from Mel could be a proof. But Alan Turning also didn't hide his orientation from his classmates and he lived in time when in England you could be send to jail for being gay. Maybe the reason Viktor doesn't show up with Jayce is coz he fears people will see them as a pair.
Piltover definitely accepts being gay. The creators said they didn't outright mention Vi and Cait being gay because being gay or bi is so normal that they don't even have a word for it in their world
