Before the start of this now 1-5 road trip, the Dodgers won 5 in a row. For the last 60 games, they've basically been playing .500 ball as their record indicates. When Freeman, Betts, Muncy and Graterol as well as Yamamoto get back on the field and in the lineup, they are going to need to go on a serious tear of Wins to get their mojo back heading into the post-season. No more injuries, please, this team has seen plenty enough of that this year, in fact the Dodgers have had the most injuries than any other team in MLB this season AND last season. This is the real ongoing problem with this organization as a whole.

I don't have any problem with bat flips, but I also don't see the attraction. It is a piece of lumber spinning in the air. The cool part was the homer, the moment. Whether a player puts their head down and trots the bases or flips their bat then trots the bases, the excitement and entertainment remains exactly the same for me.
This reminded me of watching Angels games last year where Ohtani would have a good performance but the rest of team couldn’t do anything to help. Obviously he wasn’t flawless tonight but this Dodgers team has basically been mid at best the last month and this stretch has certainly been bad with blown leads and poor offensive performances.
