This was such a fun match. I actually met AJ in 2003 at my first pro wrestling live show and he was a really cool and friendly guy. After the show I told him he had the best match of the night and he gave me a free autographed photo, which I still have to this day. I remember he did this one moonsault that was the most perfect textbook moonsault I've ever seen, even though the opponent rolled out of the way. Cody's off of the steel cage and that one are in my top 3 of all time. It's great to see him get some time in the spotlight again, and on a national stage like this. AEW really connects on a personal level with the fans when it comes to stuff like this and celebrating the local culture of the cities they visit.

I love that AJ & Qt proved everyone wrong. It felt like a under dog championship moment, it felt like all the TiK Tok’s, all the chicken bakes, all the Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies exploding in the main event match all at once. They said, this is what is killing AEW. Is it? Because when I watched that match, I saw money signs, I saw stars, I saw business. The climax was written and done so well. They said, put the fries in the bag. That man is ripped, and is providing his family, his children with memories they will never forget. 5 stars. ❤️🧨💥

QT has gotten into great shape! I think the hair regrowing treatment might have boosted his work ethic around his appearance. He's looking much younger & healthier.

I've been a harsh critic of AWE often times but I love to see things like this. I've never heard of this guy and AEW gave him and his family one night in the spotlight. This is a legit wrestler having a good time on the pre-show, and he has brought outside eyes on AEW. Some of ya'll need to calm down. There has been way sillier stuff than this in BOTH major companies. I think it's wholesome and entertaining, it's not hurting anyone.
