@GregWittstockThePondGuy, flash forward 2-3 years. Tony and Family will take out the above ground pool and put in rec pond with a "connecting" stream. But actually two systems, with a stone slab bridge 😉😉❣
"90% of the time, it's just the two of you." So true! Looking forward to creating a pond in my landscape. But like you, I'm not going to dig it out myself! The kids involved in the dig will be able to take pride in this pond as it changes. ❣
Of course I love the landscape, and might need to try a Black Lace Elderberry behind my waterfall, but my favorite part was watching Lucy(?) try to catch your hand's shadow as you were talking!😂 Thanks Brian! You're the best!
I'd love to see a 4 season interest tree in the waterfall corner, to contrast with the fence color. A false cypress that turns yellow, orange or red for fall through winter would be perfect. Trumpet vine is another option for trellising. They are more free flowering than clematis and the Hummers and pollinators LOVE them.
