The experience of playing a melee AA reliant champion whose only gap close is his ult that can be easily dodged compared to champions that has multiple dashes with cd reduction. I´d say that this match wasn´t the worst for WW as there was plenty imobile champions despite the amount of CC. Also the tilt from just being unable to even right click despite being fed is real.
Yah,.... I hate all those mobile Champs with 10 dashes and clones and invicibility or who get untargetable or jumpt into the air and then are gona and so on. But .... they don't even need that to dodge my Ult. Sometimes they are standing still and I just miss them. -.-

@@overower1690 No the back lane R only happens in silver and under because their reaction time is slow, and even there.. And Q is not a cc nor his fear a single target cc so we don't know what you say... I was a plat ww jg 2seasons ago, not saying I was great, I overplayed the champ, I'm just saying what you say is irrelevant outside of bronze reality, it's the reason why you think it's great yet you don't climb. And, for broxah, yes a ww game is always like that unless it's a total stomping for one of either side. :S You play it out of attachment for the character I guess, you kinda wear your champ and you like the feeling of it, and you often, very often, feel frustrated but see hardship as a challenge... It's not rare to loose on S and S+ with him. It's also the main reason I quitted league loll. Toxicity I learned to deal with, but the mental prep before a gaming session because of the hardship to carry with him... I thought this could be used somewhere else. :)
Watching Broxah get shocked by the interaction between Warwick R and Jarvan E Q as a Warwick and Jarvan main was extremely satisfying
I've been maining warwick for years and won't get into the details of everything Broxah did wrong here because I doubt he'll ever play him again XD. Suffice it to say I gave up on Warwick jungle this season for the most part. He's still very good into certain comps but blind picking him in high elo ranked is almost always a disaster. Glad to finally see you play him though :)
Some tips you could have done: during ww ult if you hold q on target you will follow them as soon as suppression ends, jinx got away from you there once. Also ww q makes him unstoppable in the attachment you can q through a minion to get next to sion and land your e when he is charging his q on you
Also, you can actually follow everything with q, it can even follow tp if you time it perfectly, as well as many more like flash, any dashes jump or whatever, even hextech gate and its possible to cancel morde ult if he casts it on you 😊 made one of the morde mains rage quit because of that in plat 😂always fun

@@kurtnevermind9683 if morde's target is in "unstoppable" during the ult's cast time, his ult doesn't drag them to death realm. If target enters "unstoppable" (like olaf ult) after they're already in death realm, it doesn't take them out of it.
Detailed explanation: during cast, the ult applies a suppression effect. Game checks if suppression is applied successfully. If yes then drag into death realm. if target unstoppable, then fails suppression check and doesn't drag into death realm. Once inside death realm, QSS/GP W/rengar W can cleanse suppression.

Warwick is a fucking classical champion. I've played League for almost 10 years and the guy was popular back then, with Madred's Razor Build, who remember?
It's sad to see he in this current state. Just rework the damn beast.
Wp Broxah
Broxah has the enjoyable experience of 2 ults being self-peeled. One because J4 Q is basically knockdown immune and one because of a buffered Sion Q. Such joy.
Jarvan Q isn't knockdown immune, it's the delay in effect. J4 only starts moving when Q hits the flag, so if you see WW coming for you, drop the flag, wait for the ult to come out then throw Q. WW ult hits first before Q hits flag, so you're suppressed, then you displace (pull) yourself knocking up the WW canceling the R.
What a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions on this one mr. Broxah. Always a BANGER if it’s BROXAH
yeah a lesson in playing WW from someone who has spammed the hell out of him in both jungle and lane, if you build AD then in team fights you really want to look for flanks and picks, never front to back as you will always end up kited out and getting caught in CC.
If you want to play a more front line warwick who CAN front to back then I recommend considering Titanic hydra into Frostborn gauntlet build, you lose out on the damage but this is a good build for team fights as you are both tanky and bring constant AoE slows to lock people into fighting. I tend to go this build if my team has carrys who can put in work to clean up since I'm a lot harder to burst down and can soak agro for them+ lock down prio targets.
PS 13:00 yeah, every WW main has done this, its like a right of passage to playing the champ :)

Ww is the one jungler i can actually play. Im an adc main and i play ww if i get filled he is such a fun jgler so its nice seeing you play him.

I think WW was doing low dmg because laners weren't spam pinging you everytime they die. Everyone knows that is how to empower junglers.

WW does a lot of dmg, but you can't just pick him. Sion cancels out WW ult because he is unstoppable during his ult. Sometimes it is probably better to miss your ult on purpose to put you behind the enemy to fear them the wrong way. Always need your fear going when you ult in so you can fear everyone around your ult target. WW works and thrives in chaos which makes him perfect for like low gold and below because that is all games are in that elo, chaos.
I don't like to engage with ult+e because if just 1 of the other players react and stop your ulti you just waste a valuable sustain option, as ww you should try to flank or wait to enter with holdQ plus e and try to break the enemy position, you can take a lot of dmg and still be fine before use your ult.

Warwick is just a fun tank wall to me, i think botrk is enough dmg and then Jak'Sho and tank items. You can take a lot of dmg and buy so much time with e + ult.
Still outdated champ but I love it as a top laner.

12:50 J4 and WW ult interaction:
WW's ult stops all dashes upon hitting and is invulnerable during the dash. If J4 is mid dash on his EQ and gets hit by WW ult, WW will tank the knock up with invulnerable and stop J4 mid dash, proceeding to suppress him.
If WW lands his ult _after_ J4 EQ's but _during_ the Q animation, WW will land the suppress, then J4's dash will activate, knocking up WW if he is in the way, disrupting the suppress which is what happened here. If WW is NOT in the way, the suppress will continue but J4 will still dash to his flag, and will continue to be suppressed for the full duration at the new location.
I'm happy to see Broxah declining to comment on questions trying to spark drama surrounding Fnatic. It's a good look.

“The Warwick rework was 5-6 years ago…” and you’ve made me feel old… damnit… granted I quit League 2 years ago, but that’s made me feel old.
Should try out Move Speed WW. Ultimately goes super far! Helps with getting the suppress on and your stick isn't too bad.
WW is such a cool champ and if u know his tricks he can be insanely good in pro play. Guess everyone thinks hes soo easy to counter. Also I got diamond with WW in EU West before stopping playing this crappy game lol.

as a WW main let me tell you:
1- U RARELY should be using R while chaneling E cause it stops the damage reduction as u do R... use E to survive after engaging, buying ur team more time and space to play
2- NEVER use R when u are at FULL HP (u did that a couple of times), R with blade can actualy pop 50% of ur HP if ur low (the passive works with R if ur low)
3- I know u had a volibear, but WW work is to go in, create havoc among their team, create space and soak! You need to build JAKSHO! and also u need to get Spirit visage, especialy if they have 2 AP like they had there! SV and blade + using proper E + JAKSHO ... u have INSANE LIFE STEAL and sustain during teamfights!
Should give it another try and go for Jaksho & blade build!

@LoL I agree; honestly ww is super strong with clean up and backlining so if he did that more instead of greeding so much it would've been good. I main ww as well and its def hard to team fight with him but if you play it smart u can be huge in a team fight
Your first point is entirely wrong though mate, E dmg reduction remains the same even after fear goes off when triggered by ult. This is why you SHOULD use E prior to ulting in some situations (instans fear on multiple members of their team).

I think a small buff to Warwick to make him more viable is to make his W speed able to continue through damage and maybe even slows.

Also the self peel for ww ult makes it completely useless when suppression is supposed to stop them entirely but apparently riots definition of what that is apparently is completely different.
you can dodge drake knock up if you hold your q at the right time
don't even need to hold Q. it saves time when you tap Q. it also gives the displacement immunity but for a much shorter time

Honestly fun to see you play WW! And even with so little experience of the champion you got some of the mechanics down. I usually prefer to play WW a lot tankier than you did, with the squishy build you went for he becomes very hard to play in team fights and you basically have to go for splitpush/random picks.
You under-estimate his early gank potential a little, with W into Q follow and E fear he is roughly on the same level as an Udyr and WILL burn flashes/get kills on over-extended laners. Dmg reduction from E is also a nice tool for early tower dive.
Q gives CC immunity during the follow so you could definitely make better use of that, and I am not a fan of the E-spam on jungle camps (wasting mana and CD for a very small health gain at most).
People think WW is a braindead AA-champ, but as you noticed it is extremely difficult to time his abilities right. Ult is hyper-easy to cancel for some champs, so vs better opponents you either use it as a gap closer, or initiate CC with your fear then follow up with ult while they are feared.

I usually go jak'sho instead of divine, at least in team fights it drains from all enemies and increases survivability. bork, jak'sho, deaths dance, force of nature, titanic hydra and I leave boots for last because I might even not need them and then build another item like thornmail or steraks gage. Still, 1st bork and then jak'sho, from there you can build whatever fits the enemy. usually max W first to compensate the lack of boots.

Below-low-elo WW main here.. he's terrible full clearing until tiamat, so I usually 3-4 camp straight to invade. If the enemy jungler is full clearing you can catch them on the 2nd big buff, smite from bush, kill enemy jungler. Early ward either side of midlane will tell you if full clear or not. After that its off to the races. It feels so bad when you get attacked and lose your move speed bonus but lets be real, even as a WW main, if he had any more gap close in his kit he would be legit broken. He can 1v1 almost anyone in the game. Gotta give the other team a chance yea?
Very true, maybe they could give WW's W a small buff so that he loses his MS gradually instead of instantly when damaged. Or they could rework his active W, I feel like it is kind of redundant most of the times

WW main in in bronze here. Maintaining W passive for pathing and ganks is the way to go. impossible to keep up with many other junglers like lee sin.

Warwick es very good in late with jaksho and hullbreaker, always win 1vs1 and can fight 5vs5 good, id your team is not trash ww is very good.

Warwick's strength in team fights is flanking and diving the back line, not face tanking the front line.
How do you dive the backline with WW?
@@kurtnevermind9683 You can use fog of war, and with W increased movement spead you flank (which means you go around the side of the fight where they can't see you) and either R onto a squishy target or flash, or ghost or just run onto them. Hopefully you get a quick kill, tank some damage with your E and fear the others away, then get out and let your team clean up.

There is not need to use E on jungle camps. you heal back regardless, and the damage reduction is not worth the mana and cooldown.

warwick is good low elo imo because his passive and 1v1 ability low elo players dont respect that he can see thm when theyre low and they push up to take plates ect. also most low elo players dont look around at peoples health so having a passive do that for you is massive.
Intense match and great video but I don't like that the taking of the game deciding infernal drake wasn't in the video. Broxah says the next drake decides the game next clip they already have it, it kinda ruined the tension a bit

riftmaker, Bork, Wits end, Spirit visage, Ravenous hydra, Mercs. you are unkillable basically. even then, gravenous is only reducing 40% of all that healing, which isnt much for warwick
Explaining WW is extremely simple. He costs 460 blue essence. He's Riot' version of a noob trap - he's intentionally worse, because Riot wants you to spend money on new champs.

the vunerability to cc and being kited is why I tend to favour iceborne as a mythic. Weaker in a straight 1v1 but greater utility in teamfights and better scaling as you stay relevant in mid to late game when carries have high mobility and you need to peel your carries more
What do you thnk about "Unflinch" in the runes? Ich play that sometimes as secondary into heav CC-comps. But tbh., I don't know if it really helps.

well first of all warwick is one of the best duelist in the entire game if not the best so its better to be picked in the top lane and not in the jgl.
Second a lot of players playing warwick with the mentality that he is very easy champion to play well they are wrong even i can count how many mistakes broxah did there and he is a pro player.
The only reason that Warwick is not playeable in high elo is that he can be kited to death before he even try to pull an auto attack.
ww is up there, but he's definitely by FAR not the best duelist

Thanks champ, 1.6m mastery hard stuck silver OTP here. I think some invulnerability time on his ult would go a long way to fixing warwick. Some slow / cc reduction also could be a very strong buff. I frequently lose games due to the phenomenon you just experienced often 15/0 only to feel useless and lose. It's almost as if the champion needs a stat progression rework, or at least a few more tools to compete in the late game.
He needs to keep his W MS while in combat. Warwick feels more vulnerable to slow than any champ because he loses the MS bonus whenever he gets poked and that's attrocious

I got autofilled adc last night, I play jungle top and mid. Not adc.
Wierd autofill but okay. Locked in warwick and spam ganked and invaded, morgana supp got solo xp and farm. Never went bot.
I did fall behind in levels from not farming anything, but the spam ganking got everyone so far ahead that it didn't matter.

the reason why ww is dominant in low elo is cause low elo players dont care about comps and how to counter stuff they would go full melee champs from top to bottom with no cc while enemy jungler blind picks WW then ofcourse the ww would get fedd to oblivion early game and low elo dont know how to handle late game that is one of the reasons why ww wont get much of a change or buff cause he will always be dominant in low elo

You kept burning R in a 1v1, then tried to do a teamfight without it. Idk if Voli didn't want to match Sion or what but at some point going for the Sion pick just wasn't worth it.

That 13min interaction is bull. I guess what happened is that JV4's q was already cast and the moment you started suppressing him he could bump thanks to the delay. Still bull though.
WW ult is 2 parts. First, a knockdown and then a suppression channel.
Jarvan Q still pulls him to E through knockdowns, so WW gets the knockup as soon as he's no longer unstoppable and starts channeling.

Warwick is not great in high elo where people know how to abuse his low movespeed while in combat. But you also played him terribly, constantly misusing his he and q and randomly ulting when you don’t have to. I also don’t agree that is ganks are bad. If you can come from behind you can fear people away from their turret and slow them which is pretty much a guaranteed kill. At level 6 his ganks get even better with ult.
No ello lets warwick 1v1, great when you're fed and you can 1v2.
So in silver people cannot reliably chain their cc, nor are they particularly good at kiting in general. Also most of the time people are not paying attention to the game as a whole, but rather doing their own thing. In short A silver team is not coordinated enough to deal with a fed ww most of the time. At least that is my experience, kind regards from a silver player.
sion has like 10k hp and stoneplate, and taken down within 3 sec, plz buff tank qwq
Tbf no one could kill him but Broxah. Voli was far behind, Kassadin is not meant to beat tanks, Sion is a scaling champ so Xayah couldn't do jackshit against him. Broxah was a Warwick, who deals %max hp magic damage, his passive gives him magic damage on hit, he had a lot of healing, Sunderer counters tanks, and he had BORK. But only him could outduel Sion. Nobody else could.
I think that you were too hard on Rakan. He is not a professional player, he is probably trying his best, and he did in fact try to play with you as much as he could, even before you told him to play with you more. You are usually a wholesome person (read: rational and empathetic) when communicating in League, which is why I watch you over others, but I feel like this was not S+. Of course you cannot be perfect all the time, that is unrealistic, but I think if you haven't already, maybe hit up the Rakan and say something. I think that would be fucking excellent. Wp

is broxah's clear wack? even with tiamant he is hitting the little raptors while the big one is still alive. it's pretty nuts that pro players can have trash clears
He hits the small ones so that the camp gets cleared at the same time as his pet is attacking the whole jungle. But I'd imagine broxah knows what he's doing much more than you do since he's a pro jungler
@@masongenova111 you need to do that with a tiamant? That did not look needed here. Pro players have unoptimized clear all the time. You don't need to be a pro to have an ideal clear, you just watch a yt video. Other roles are more optimized, junglers are just the worst mechanical players
If you only focus the big monster, even with Tiamat, he is going to die earlier than the smaller ones. It's not optimal to only auto the biggest one.
You also want to proc WW attack speed passive on low health enemies for faster auto resets
