having blend in text and images help reminding and following the spoken words. especially if english is your second language. it makes it easyer to understand.
heres a little tip for the air force adds, if u position urself just under their bolt nose, u dont have to move at all to avoid their left arm frontal cone aoe, u can stay stationary and keep dpsing.
I found a fun fact about the end of virus program. A Paladin's cover prevents the person they cover from getting the misdirection debuff. I mostly found out when I couldn't get cover to go off in time for the prey during virus.
I'm hoping that now people are way better at this... I can't have a static since I only have weekends off and I work through a sizable chunk of raid time on weekends.
Honestly, for pugs Rot is what makes this fight the absolute worst to deal with. Not to mention on how buggy it is sometimes @_@. Other than that, Virus is a piece of cake.!
I have a simple question if anyone could verify. Tentacle Simulation, as the main tank I have not seen the AoE marker for this ability to ever spawn underneath me. I'm talking 20+ times. Except for 1 time where we had a DPS dead. I was wondering if the only players that spawn the tentacles are just the DPS and healers, or anyone but the MT or literally anyone. I am just the kind of player that likes to know every little detail about every mechanic to better maximize where I can.
I mean sure, in theory it sounds cool. But from what Ive experienced in both this game and wow is that the best raid bosses are the ones where its comparable to a minigame. For example, a boss with a mechanic similar to the moving cups game or something. This one is TOO raid like. Just a long list of random average mechanics that barely have any theme connecting them. This fight is just a ton of "stand here, dodge that, repeat.

"Sometimes you gotta just yolo it".
Ah yes, that's how I like my mechanics. ~
As a fellow grizzled veteran since ARR, I enjoy/resonate with the snark remarks you throw in between explanations, keep it up XD
Baking soda is his tank buster...

Bro your doing a good job. Way better then the last few years! You use to put me to sleep lol
Seeing this fight makes me want to give up. It looks l like a big ass headache all the way to the end. o3s was way more fun.
holy shit this is gonna be hard
I'm pretty certain it will be the "hot potato" mechanic (Allagan Rot/Aether Rot) that will get most groups.
Happy you sound so pissed in that Guide :D Seems you had some bad experiences with that fight.
"Try to lean towards daddy's backside" >_>
Heh, that DRG decided to "tank" Guardian's air raid.
Apparently 31,681 people have watched this guide. FUCKING NONE OF THEM ARE ON THE CHAOS DC LET ME TELL YOU, AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
this fight, and this whole raid tier. are cancer for healers. it's just... so bad.

lul this fight glitched for my party. We stayed in virus until it was over and no one got pushed back XD
I think they missed an opportunity to have a boss that wasn't so reliable in what it did, which is something I think needs to happen.

It's not DADDY LUMA !
Luma daddy do kamekameha, the rest I quit this raid ._.
