      +Eggsr2bcrushed The reason why this looks stupid is because he did it in a public place...i know a lady who was a victim of this scam except the scammer was a new friend of hers who introduced another friend of his who was i guess the "connect" . they met at the ladies house and the guy had a brief case filled with the black paper, they showed her how it works and she was surprised as youd guess but said they needed to buy more of the liquid that washes it off and if she pitched in on buying the liquid they could split the black paper and they would leave her with the black paper to prove their not gonna run off with her money. Well she fell for it and gave like 2000 dollars and stayed home with a brief case filled with black paper that she thought would be like 50,000. My point is, its all in the presentation and the story but you dont have to be an idiot to be scammed.

      +Eggsr2bcrushed The reason he is selling it is he says "I need to get rid of these" he is saying he doesn't have enough time to unroll all of them. Therefor he is selling it to stupid people who will unroll it instead of him.

    It's one of the most common, and successful, scams in the world. It usually takes a lot more effort than this to prime the victim though, there's usually months of prep work and a convoluted story about WHY the scammers can't just clean and spend the money themselves. You might not fall for it, but unfortunately plenty of people do.

    • @CrossRoadsOfTime
      @CrossRoadsOfTime 9 років тому

      Tymetwister I'm pretty sure of that myself I saw a few cons that seem fairly reasonable. but most of the ones I've seen if the mark has applied just a little bit of common sense they could of spotted the red flags that where all over the place and shut down the scammer. and some of them are pretty out there too, like there was one where the guy is working on some spreadsheet on his computer and the next minute his screen is taken over with a "virus" that threatens to delete his entire if he doesn't pay the code, and it just so happens that with out him knowing someone put a phone and an envelope in it and calls that phone with a disguised voice demanding they put money in the slot and hand it off to a carrier, to get the code. what's worse is if you watch the envelope in the video you actually get a view of both sides of it and there's no writing on it anywhere no carrier would accept it. plus it seems like a rather convoluted way to try to extract money from someone, when you could just build some means into your virus to accept a credit card payment though the "pay up or else" screen which is what the real malware that uses scare tactics do. and of course instead of doing the logical thing and kill the power to computer, then take it to a repair shop the guy begs and pleads from both his boss and the scammer and end up having to part ways with his money,.

    Money is the opposite.
    You react now, you lose. You think and react, you win or lose less given the terms.
    If you're already bankrupt then the scam won't have any negative effects since you're already broke you've got nothing to lose.

  • @Francisco-Danconia
    @Francisco-Danconia 9 років тому +3

    You have got to be seriously stupid to buy into this.
    First of all, why would ANYBODY sell those bills if they could be made usable... Any greedy person would keep them all to themselves and be up all hours of the day fixing the money for themselves.
    Secondly, if the bills were marked for deletion their serial numbers are in a database somewhere I imagine which would make spending the money illegal??
    Also, the roller didn't produce a wet bill AND it never touches the back of the bill so how the hell did that side get clean ?!?! xD
    But greed blinds so efficiently haha

    Two black guys with a Ghanca accent but claiming to be from Switzerland showed me a similar scam. I managed to convince them that I can buy hundreds of thousands worth of notes from them if they let me "test" some of their notes by depositing in the bank. The guys bought it and gave me 400 pounds to "test". Of course I never contacted them again. Happiest moment of my life, scamming the flipping scammers.

    One other way they do it, is they convince the victim, that the money is locked in a inheritance vault and that someone is named in the will that cannot be found. They say you, have the same name, which means you have the ability to unlock the money.

    For anybody that doesn't understand it yet it's just like those little things were you put in a regular piece of paper in then there would be a A dollar that comes out but the trick to it is is that you put the dollar in on specific portion of the roller and then you feed the other piece of paper into the roller then you roll it and then the real money comes out the other shine and then the fake money is inside the roller

    To people wondering why people don't think "why would he sell me if he can do it himself", it's technically. I mean, bank robbers don't use the money they stole right after stealing it. The money has serial numbers on them. They give to other people and exchange the bills. If this was possibly real, people who can get ahold of black bills would be the first to be investigated so they can't spend it themselves.
