Clancey is 15 and that's when the bickering starts (I raised 6 boys) they all do it as dad begins losing IQ points every day until the day when Clance is 17ish, it will be a wonder how Cody actually is able to walk and form words he has so few IQ points left. Plus the more they are alike, the worse they will be like an old married couple.

My Dad and I had different opinions on HOW to do things, too. He was right 90% of the time (He admitted it when I was right) , and I now work with a father/son team and enjoy every minute of their back and forth, more now that the son is getting older. He is our "Tech guy", so all the GPS stuff is his to be the "boss" of. And they run about the same ratio of the young one being right... 😂

Last summer you started a garden in those great big containers but I never saw a video of how the planting turned out. Did you finish with the planting and have a video on it and I missed it if so, when was the video on?
Have you guys tried using liquid nitrogen to brand the cattle I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure that it grows back white and it's real easy to read
Freeze branding, whether you use LN2 or dry ice DOES make the hair come in white. But it's a much more involved process, requiring hair to be close clipped or shaved where you brand them. And it isn't always a given that it will be legible. Hot brands take some talent to not burn too deep into the flesh, just the hide.
Trust me when I say that if a father and son can work cattle and not have a few little "disagreements" then they aren't normal.....
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Or with daughters! I finally told my girls to just go ahead and do the vax work, and by gosh, they even argued with each other. But they did the job, and I had 0 stress and some laughs!

Beack months ago use went for a ride to Niagara Falls. New York and I waited and waited to see what you thought of that but you should never put on another video that I know of is it possible that you could put on a video and tell us how your trip was to Niagara Falls. At what age or size do you start grain feeding you cattle for slaughter?

Just did our first branding here in northern Nevada got a 3 more brandings to do before all the calves are done. We round ‘‘em up into a remuda heel ‘‘em drag ‘em to the fire then let ‘em go back, when the first brandings done we let ‘em out let them pair up then let em back on the desert for another year. Go home and do 3 more times tell 600 head of calves are branded heifers tagged and bulls cut. Thanks for taking us along with your branding quite different but still a lot of work and A Lot of FUN. Just asking for general knowledge would it be easier to sheer the hair off where y’all put the brand so the burnt hair doesn’t stick to the brand or does that matter much? I’m also asking for future knowledge when I get my brand made.
No.
Freeze branding requires clipping/shaving the area of the brand. Hot branding burns through the hair.

Why do you cut the tail?
To reduce burrs, hitchhikers, and mud accumulating on them.

I can't handle that siren stop go stop go. It was perfect spaced to be irritatingly annoying but constant I can handle.... Or maybe just it being on her and not in person that makes it annoying.
My job uses the feed truck air horn to call the cattle. I learned to NOT use the air horn on the silage dump truck to get cattle out of the way, it brought the whole herd to the road I was going on! 😂
