Testing LEGO Transport Mechanisms

I Build 6 simple LEGO mechanisms that move between two points. Demonstration of several mechanical principles such as parallelogram platform, rack and pinion mechanism, conveyor, etc. Can be used to move passengers, or some weights, or something else. Enjoy!

The stop-motion while doing a smooth carousel was very impressive!

One could easily put 3 more plates onto the carousel and have it run continuously to take multiple minifigs back and forth across the chasm, regardless of which way they were headed; it'd take some doing to set up two lanes of travel, but it'd be doable!
