Excellent episode. RIP Larry Allen. His Top 100 players of all time video (2010) is a great 5 minute description of Allen. Great player.

Vick Fangio has the emotional intelligence grade of zero. He couldn't care less, of course. But his people skills are lacking. Media person asked how his family was doing during a game trip during holiday season, Vick looked at him like he was insane. Left without saying a word. OK. But most people today would think that, at the least, it's weird behavior. But he really didn't want to be here. Philly was his real love. He took the big money and tolerated odd Mike McDaniel. Both parties agreed with him leaving. No judgment here on his football acumen. Plus, Vick like being up in the booth which further isolated him from players. Also what clashed is Vick's old school Vince Lambardi philosophy. If you can't follow instructions or know the plays, I will tell you once, maybe twice, but that is it. It is on you. You fail. You sit. You lose future money. Just like the old Packers. It worked then. It works now. But a price is paid by coaches with teams with modern players. Players are gaining more control and if coaches don't adjust they get fired. Of course all the Philly players like Vick before the season. Same thing happen with Miami. They said the same things early and throughout the season. Until the season ended and he was out. So let's see what the new season brings.
