You are by far my favorite flashlight reviewer. Keep up the great work, I am sure we all out here appreciate it!
Thanks for the support and watching!
Yes he is a special breed
As always you describe it the best and it looks great but 4,000 lumens for 10 seconds, 10 seconds and then drops to 200 lumens there should be something in between, I think the Tup you demonstrated might actually be more reasonable to use, but all considered all my lights I have bought from watching you. As always you demonstrate it amazing. You get my 5 stars.
Thanks for watching!
Exactly what I'm thinking...from 4,000 to 200 is too big of a drop.
I think the 4000 lumens is more of defense mechanism. Imagine just hitting someone with that 4000 lumens at night.
Always the best reviewer...
Thank u sir for the best review as always.
Thanks for the support and watching!
Wow. Just.... Wow. Nitecore lights really are the best
Thanks for watching!
Charles, excellent review. Thank you. Only having 200 lumens except when in 4K mode is a disappointment. This would be a great seller at 1K under normal operations and 4K burst. Yes it would decrease run time greatly. But this is not a patrol light you would be using for an hour. Just my 2C. Thank you!
I agree at least a 700 lumens level would have been great. Thanks for watching!
My complements to Nitecore for thinking out of the box.
Thanks for watching!
Great review as always Mr. BridgTec. Already pre-ordered mine. The TUP is one of my favorite flashlights so there's no way in heck I'm not getting this!
Thanks for watching!
Larger version of the Nitecore Tup looks great, the Tup is a great light
Thanks for watching!
With the fancy interface this needs a ramping mode say from

Fenix has a screen display light, as well. Being a big Fenix fan, it was many moons ago I asked them to make such a light. I do not recall them replying, but we see they do have the light for which I specified. You don't have to believe me, but I did request such a light. Perhaps they forgot about it and years later finally thought about it. I like this light a lot.
Thanks for watching!
Nice. Small but crazy light👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching!
Very 🆒 😎 love it. Thanks for the review Charles. Great job. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
lol i just want this flashlight for the display. it looks so cool and high tech. 4000 lumens is no joke.
Thanks for watching!
My two cents: too large for a keychain, too bulky and odd for pocket carry, too small to justify a belt sheath. Not sure if that amount of "firepower" justifies the drain and heat even if just as a few-seconds reserve.
But this utility display is very interesting. I wonder if it can be coupled with something like the Anduril UI to help navigating trough its features...
Thanks for watching!
Definitely not an EDC light
Meh. Novelty at best. If you put it on a set of keys that display is gonna get destroyed and so will the recharge port. You wont tho because its way too big. Good for a show off light but little practical use.
If you say so. Thanks for watchimg!
mmhmm. Need this.. That thing is insane.. Not cheap but, the $ is worth pulling out your keys and lighting up a city block just for your pals alone LoL.
Ok, gld you like it. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic review and key chains light.crazy power 😀
Thanks for watching!
Dang it, I was interested in this light but no setting between 200 and 4,000 lumens? Really?... That's gonna be a no go for me 🤦♂️
Thanks for watching!
Same for me, as well. No go. They should have lumen settings for 500, 1000, and 2000 before jumping clear to 4k. They could easily do that with a firmware upgrade.
Agree, its like only 10 sec on 4000
@@aggaviriyo790 There is no discernible difference between 200 & 260 lumens.
@@aggaviriyo790 At VERY low levels, it's noticeable...but not at mid-levels.
Lumintop GT Nano for keychain! I owned 3, bought one and love it then reordered two more within the past 2 weeks! I was looking at the Nitecore T4k a week ago, it's a bit bulky for keychain!
Thanks for watching!
I ordered one the other day along with the t4k
That's insane
Thanks for watching!
i dont understand why nitecore did not have a 1000 lumens mode in this flash light instead they put a 1 lumen mode and whos gona use a 1 lumen with this kind of flash light? nice vid as always.
Thanks for watching!
Good video! I like is the flashlight,
Thanks for watching!
Miss the blanket you used to use. It's helpful having a solid dark color table when you're showing the beam profile
Wow you been watching since that time? Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec of course! That was one of the reasons why I liked your videos. You showed the beam profile. It's easier to see the Corona and hot spot when it's a solid color table that's not super reflective. I thought you did that intentionally lol
Ok, noted. maybe I will bring back towel for showing beam pattern. Take care.
@@CharlesBridgTec Anything solid and dark good sir. 🙏
I think this one is more powerful than the imalent LD70. And smaller and easy to work on.
Thanks for watching!
Can you do a side by side comparison with the TUP?
How much bigger and heavier is it compared to the TUP?
The T4K is about 2oz heavier. Beams are similar. Thanks for watching!
cool flashlight, amazing how far tech has taken us over these past few short years in the flashlight world. not quite sure if i would consider this a true " key-chain "flashlight, but the point is well taken. thanks for another great thorough review Charles, happy New Year to you :)
Happy New Year. Thanks for watching!
People complaining about a 200 Lumen EDC POCKET light that can hit 4K lumen. Like what the hell are you doing on a daily basis that you require more than 200 Lumen other than being a jackass shining an 1800 lumen light around for shits and giggles. Use the proper tool for the proper job. If you *need* a 1000 Lumens daily and you are a first responder, law enforcement or an adventurer (what ever the hell that means) then skip the pocket light and carry a burner, but if you just need to light up the car, poorly lit path, checking around the house at night or ANY of the 1,000s of things *NORMAL* people do then 200 Lumens will be just fine and the 4k Lumens for when you just need a quick check around if you hear a noise or need to summon a UFO.
Thanks for watching!
If this added a 1000 lumen mode i would of order it today 😔
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your always
Butiful reviews..
of course the lumens not all the thing.
I think the AMUTORCH E3S 3000 lumens, is the best (according to the size and lumens).
Hope you make review for it also.
Thanks for watching!
excellent reviews
Thanks for watching!
Excellent Reviews. I like the display of this flashlight but is big for Keychain. Anyway, I want it. Thanks
If you haven't seen it the TUP is smaller and pretty good
Thanks for watching!
Does it match the imalent LD70? That would be a perfect comparison. 4000 lumens war battle.
The OLED display and it being a key chain light makes for a great light. Thanks for watching!
Imalent LD70 is smaller and also max output of 4000lm. It releases before T4K
Actually the LD70 is a bit bigger. Thanks for watching!
I bought the T4K and it covers most of the car’s headlights even if they are on high beam lol.
Thanks for watching!
That keychain light is as big as my FW3A
FW3A is not 4k lumens though. Thanks for watching!
Nice!
Thanks for watching!
the display will not get damage by the 4k lumens right
No. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec thanks for the info
Great review! Is the rechargeable battery replaceable?
Could be taken apart so maybe possible. Thanks for watching!
Great review man! New sub here
Thanks for watching!
There are no settings between 200 lumens and 4000 lumens! Why would Nitecore do that? That's not too bright (pun intended) on their part. I'm surprised the reviewer didn't mention that glaring (pun intended) mistake, in his final thoughts.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful flashlight. Disappointed in the lumen levels. From 200 to 4K, then back to 200? Nothing in between like 1K or 2K? 4K for 5 seconds, then 200. That’s a big drop. I’d rather have one more level like 1K or even 2K. Can you use it while charging? I ordered one, but might return it. Basically, you can only it 30 seconds of 4K combined. There’s not much you can do at 200 floody. Was expecting something amazing. 🤷🏽♂️
I ran it more than 30 seconds in my night shots. Thanks for watching!
very nice
Thanks for watching!
240p? That has to be UA-cam being stupid, right? Also I thought the LD70 was 4000 lumens as well and that's smaller.
Its 4k but not right away during processing so it may take a few more minutes for 4k to be available. Thanks for watching!
The Asian Nitecore reviewer said there is a special offer that gives you a fancy clip and a stiff (flex) usb-c cable. I did not see that in the nitecore store do you know where I can score that deal? Thanks
Nope. Thanks for watching!
nice,..but i think with price wise and the highest before turbo being 200lumens...i like my imalent ld70 alot better
Thanks for watching!
nice flashlight but still no strobe, unfortunately. thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
my only issue with this is the exposed charging port. bad design. i'd be really nervous about whipping this out in the rain as well as dust getting into the port.
some are complaining about this not having a 2000lm or 1000lm step down. i think it was a good decision to not include those as well as having a factory set 10 second timer. these are NOT search lights as they are too small for that. if you want a search light DO NOT buy this! these type of lights are for lighting up an area for a very short period of time. a 2000lm step down would eat these batteries alive and cause this thing to melt. i'm getting this light because i loved the TUP and this has USBc and the extra light will do well for what i do(finding address numbers on houses at night).
i'd probably steer people towards the tini 2 for a keychain light unless they really want to impress people with those big time lumens.
1k lumen level would have been nice indeed. Thanks for watching!
Saw this light advertised and got an itch. Better check the Charles review... 200 lumen>4000? That's a no from me nitecore :( shame.
Thanks for watching!
Wow nice 👍
Thanks for watching!
Is it really smaller than Imalent LD70? Also 4000 lumens
Yes. Thanks for watching!
This vs Imalent Ld70 ?? 🥊🥊
Different beam types as one is flood and other is combination beam. Thanks for watching!
I prefer imalent ld70 more as keychain light🤣the size is smaller than this nitecore, same brightness, do not have short burst on turbo
Ok. Thanks for watching!
That light is so bright you can mount 4 of them to the top of your pick up truck and have to much off road lighting
Thanks for watching!
Is this light really make sense? I love the wow factor but 200 lums after 4000? Seems to me like a way big step down
Well the 4k lumens is definitely made for short burst but since its only the size of a key chain light or little bigger than a key fob 200 lumens is a level it can run at without step down so it makes sense. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec Absolutely. I have some flasights custom altered that work pretty well but this is an absolute toy. Now only when they get the tech to have it operate at 4k on a longer run time. I did enjoy the video
@@glennnichols4220 Its still very reliable and 4k bursts after about 8 to 9 times will put battery below threshold so it will still put out 200 lumens of flood for some time after that. Its not a toy but solid built. Charge times are quick and so you are back up and running quickly. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@CharlesBridgTec wish they still had the discount
@@CharlesBridgTec I watched your video on the Imalent and this seems to have more throw and more flood but the Imalent has way more step ups and downs. Do you notice the same thing as far as flood and throw? I am intrigued by both of these and I have to say I like the "In the wilderness"....
Which is better, imalent ld70 or this one?
Depends on the beam type you want. Thanks for watching!
Whats is better, nitecore t4k or imallent ld70?
One is flood the other is a combination beam. Which are you wanting? Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec i wanting better illumination, the more area is better...
T4K then for its flood.
Turbo WTF?!?!?? 😱😱😱
Thanks for watching!
A D4V2 with an 18350 battery would be better, cheaper and smaller than this one.
Ok. But 4k lumens? Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec Yep! With the XPL-Hi V3 LEDs it is 4300 lumens.
Cree XP-L puts out 4300 lumens? Show me proof of this. Even over driven the white papers show it can do 1600 lumens short bursts.
The Emisar D4V2 is a Quad LED flashlight like the one you reviewed minus the OLED display but offers auxiliary LEDs and optional body tubes to run 18650, 18500 and 18350 batteries. I agree with Autunite that the Emisar D4V2 is the better option especially with the 18350 tube. Another UA-cam reviewer measured 5070 lumens @ turn on with a Sony VTC5D battery.
Should have bean 1000 lumens insted of 200 lumens!

My friend, although I enjoy your reviews, this product is a waste of money. 4000 Lumens for 10 SECONDS!!!! Then a drop down to 200LUMENS!!!!!!!!! For REAL?????
If I had a car for sale that drove 175 miles an hour for 10 seconds, then drove 25 the rest of the way, would you buy it?? Only $68,995!!!
I left a comment on one of their videos where they denigrate other manufacturers for giving maximum lumens for three seconds.....sooo 10 seconds is a whole lot better??
I have no clue what their marketing team is made of. But one thing's for sure, they are not handymen, adventurers, outdoors people...none of that.
Having 4000 Lumens for 10 seconds is as useless as tits on a chicken!! Nitecore is becoming a gadget manufacturer. Not my cup of tea. It's good. Olight makes great stuff.
Still, great review sir! Cheers
Yeah but the car analogy is silly for many who have the money buy fast sports cars that will do over 300 MPH still buy them. This is a flashlight which can do many 4k burst of light for 7 seconds. As for 200 lumens is plenty for a key chain light which this is plus you can clip it to your body as well. I say this is a well built, solid, and rugged full featured flashlight that fits in the palm of your hand and can put out 4,000 lumens which its in a class of it own. Useless is another thing I disagree with in your reply. As always thanks for watching!
Runtime on 4000 lumens 10 seconds 👎🏼
For its size 👍! Thanks for watching!
4000 lm>200 lm 😔
No other key chain light does 4k lumens. Thanks for watching!
4000 > 200 bad landings. So I think I will choose Imanent ld70. what are you thinking
