If anything TaeTae is his safe place. JK's body language with Jimin is that of creating distance, but with V he never moves away or he simply pulls V towards him. I see this narrative every time Tae is touchy with JK and JK doesn’t show any kind of response…toxic Jikookers insist Taekook is one-sided and that JK hates or isn’t close to Tae…and even some Tkkers get insecure wondering why JK appears “cold”…so let’s consider a few points. - Firstly, JK in general seemed quiet during this photoshoot… as OP said, could be that he was just tired…this video was shot just a little while before Jin’s enlistment and BTS likely had a packed schedule at that time what with the Busan concert, recording all the OT7 content they needed to before Jin left plus JK also had Dreamers on his plate. - There’s been enough evidence from both before Jin’s enlistment and after that TK are doing just fine…remember all the TK moments at the Busan concert rehearsal and concert in October?...and as OP pointed out, all the time we know TK have spent together since then. - We only see what BH wants us to see in official content…for all we know JK was interacting with Tae at times but BH just didn’t show it…we’ve already seen how they cut just as JK started to touch Tae…maybe it was a coincidence this time but this is something they do quite often in my opinion - edit content to make it seem like Tae is the one pushing TK. The next couple of points are less to do with this video in particular and more my general impressions about how Tae and JK act on camera sometimes. - Tae has always been bolder on camera and JK more reticent…though there are times these roles reverse ofc…ppl talk about JK’s poker face all the time but they forget about Tae’s…Tae in general is better at concealing his feelings when he wants to and there are times when JK initiates a moment and Tae has a poker face too…his minimal reaction when JK sat on his lap in Vegas is a recent example of this…my general impression is that if one of them is particularly touchy while on camera, the other one doesn’t react much…they would be way too obvious if they did…of course, this isn’t always the case and there are times they’re both clingy and that could depend on their mood and their circumstances at the time. - Another thing I wanted to point out is I’m not sure why some Tkkers expect Tae/JK to act like they’re still in their honeymoon phase…being clingy/touchy is just a part of their daily lives so why would one of them have a big reaction if another one is being physically affectionate…ppl make a big deal about one of them having a poker face at times but TK are under no obligation to put on a show for fans…sure, they used to do fs with each other in the past or are particularly loud at times, but very often, it’s just them being casually affectionate with e/o…also, they’re both playful and love to tease e/o and sometimes it’s just one of them teasing by being particularly touchy/clingy and the other one choosing not to crack…all of which is to say, there’s no one reason for why they act the way they do…they’re complex humans just like anyone else. Jk was sad yes, but not because of V or uncomfortable. If anyone looks close to JK and Jin interaction they will know why JK was sad. That episode and photo shot was recorded before jin's enlistment. Probably after Busan's concert ( october) because their hair style is the same. And jin enlisted in december i guess or November I can't remember the exact month. And yes JK loves his older brother Jin and he was sad because he is leaving. And bg did what always do, a simple hand on shoulder: cut But hugging like jimin and suga is normal. Believe me or not its not V and kook who are uncomfortable with each other but its actually jm and kook who grew awkward and uncomfortable now. tk being separated by the company is what we all know but company in the process of creating a fake ship(jikook), destroyed the brotherhood between jm and kook. Daddy you're doing a great job in breaking jokers fantasy world they have to be eliminated at any cost. we have to prove jikook is not real and how uncomfortable they grew now so that jokers dissapear. this can be done by breaking their fantasy, jikook saying they're brothers(which they said many times), or jm's private relationship coming to light. They are so mad at V and throw kook under the bus whenever tk didn't act according to their fantasy.
You raised a great point, JK has truly become very guarded around JM. He almost broke in half trying to bow away from JM in the Festa, and the distant greeting and stern "no" during JM's practice, was also very telling.
This is exactly my view too. What Jikookers don't get is that they would get more Jikook moments in real life IF they did not ship them romantically! But since they do, JK and Jimin is more distant with each other, at least on camera and especially doing the required Jikook moments because they know it will get twisted no matter what they do so they do the bare minimum and stay away from each other the rest of the time. Now both Jimin and JK have talked about the rainy day fight, both have said other members were either involved in the start or knew about it after and they have talked about it several times, Both JK and Jimin explained it in as unromantic way as possible but I would not be surprised if Jikookers still romanticized the story as something only between Jikook because it was private and romantic, meaning they do not listen to the actual two people they ship, so who are they actually listening to? Jikookers are totally destroying the brotherhood between JK and Jimin and the fault is Hybe and Jikookers inability to differentiate between true love and romantic moments that are scripted and edited by Hybe. It is sad that they don't get it, Jikook do not "hide" because of MS, Jikook "hide" because of Jikookers and there romantic shipping.

Those jikookers who registered JK's detailed, no-romance explanation of the Rainy day, did not like it, and were hoping to get a romantic version from JM. He didn't give it. In reading their body language, one can clearly see that someone is communicating with V as he leans towards JK. V's face looks sad and he retreats and JK looks uncomfortable possibly because of interference by staff. Jungkook has never been and will never be uncomfortable with Taehyung. If anything TaeTae is his safe place. JK's body language with Jimin is that of creating distance, but with V he never moves away or he simply pulls V towards him. I see this narrative every time Tae is touchy with JK and JK doesn’t show any kind of response…toxic Jikookers insist Taekook is one-sided and that JK hates or isn’t close to Tae…and even some Tkkers get insecure wondering why JK appears “cold”…so let’s consider a few points.
- Firstly, JK in general seemed quiet during this photoshoot… as OP said, could be that he was just tired…this video was shot just a little while before Jin’s enlistment and BTS likely had a packed schedule at that time what with the Busan concert, recording all the OT7 content they needed to before Jin left plus JK also had Dreamers on his plate.
- There’s been enough evidence from both before Jin’s enlistment and after that TK are doing just fine…remember all the TK moments at the Busan concert rehearsal and concert in October?...and as OP pointed out, all the time we know TK have spent together since then.
- We only see what BH wants us to see in official content…for all we know JK was interacting with Tae at times but BH just didn’t show it…we’ve already seen how they cut just as JK started to touch Tae…maybe it was a coincidence this time but this is something they do quite often in my opinion - edit content to make it seem like Tae is the one pushing TK.
The next couple of points are less to do with this video in particular and more my general impressions about how Tae and JK act on camera sometimes.
- Tae has always been bolder on camera and JK more reticent…though there are times these roles reverse ofc…ppl talk about JK’s poker face all the time but they forget about Tae’s…Tae in general is better at concealing his feelings when he wants to and there are times when JK initiates a moment and Tae has a poker face too…his minimal reaction when JK sat on his lap in Vegas is a recent example of this…my general impression is that if one of them is particularly touchy while on camera, the other one doesn’t react much…they would be way too obvious if they did…of course, this isn’t always the case and there are times they’re both clingy and that could depend on their mood and their circumstances at the time.
- Another thing I wanted to point out is I’m not sure why some Tkkers expect Tae/JK to act like they’re still in their honeymoon phase…being clingy/touchy is just a part of their daily lives so why would one of them have a big reaction if another one is being physically affectionate…ppl make a big deal about one of them having a poker face at times but TK are under no obligation to put on a show for fans…sure, they used to do fs with each other in the past or are particularly loud at times, but very often, it’s just them being casually affectionate with e/o…also, they’re both playful and love to tease e/o and sometimes it’s just one of them teasing by being particularly touchy/clingy and the other one choosing not to crack…all of which is to say, there’s no one reason for why they act the way they do…they’re complex humans just like anyone else.
Finally, all this discourse around tiktok challenges is just ridiculous…I saw some JK stan claim they didn’t “take TK’s tiktok seriously” bcoz it was just part of work…as if like TK hired an expensive poolside location in a fancy hotel and directed and edited that video themselves “just for work”…I really wish some Tae/JK solos and toxic shippers would stop insisting that Tae and JK dislike eo…it’s disrespectful to their faves and everything they’ve shown us over the years…they don’t have to accept that TK are a couple but at the very least, stop living in denial about the fact that Taekook are extremely close. 💚❤💜

Jk was sad yes, but not because of V or uncomfortable. If anyone looks close to JK and Jin interaction they will know why JK was sad. That episode and photo shot was recorded before jin's enlistment. Probably after Busan's concert ( october) because their hair style is the same. And jin enlisted in december i guess or November I can't remember the exact month. And yes JK loves his older brother Jin and he was sad because he is leaving.

Believe me or not its not V and kook who are uncomfortable with each other but its actually jm and kook who grew awkward and uncomfortable now. tk being separated by the company is what we all know but company in the process of creating a fake ship(jikook), destroyed the brotherhood between jm and kook. Imagine if jikook ship was not there- both jm and kook would have pulled each others hair, joked, teased on cam but now they have to be cautious of their actions so that stupids don't romanticize their normal actions. And jm is clingy with all members, gives moments to all ships not only jikook so for them if jikook is real then jihope,vmin,yoonmin,namji is also real. At this point jikook are only colleagues who come together for any FS and know nothing about each other's private offcam life and JIKOOK ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH EACH OTHER. No wonder half of the taennie shippers are jokers- brainless creatures suddenly screaming wedding wishes for taennie so that their ship turns real. jokers are at the back of every problem towards tk and tkkrs now a days. You raised a great point, JK has truly become very guarded around JM. He almost broke in half trying to bow away from JM in the Festa, and the distant greeting and stern "no" during JM's practice, was also very telling.
This is exactly my view too. What Jikookers don't get is that they would get more Jikook moments in real life IF they did not ship them romantically! But since they do, JK and Jimin is more distant with each other, at least on camera and especially doing the required Jikook moments because they know it will get twisted no matter what they do so they do the bare minimum and stay away from each other the rest of the time.
