Steve there is a key underneath on base and you remove the screw and then rinse out all of the scale it it's clean again

i followed the same steps for descaling but the button descale is still on !and the firs timet when i used it i left the iron plate on the holder like we are supposed to when i started ironing my garments were all stained in black coming from the rubber of the holder i don't understand why ?
to be honest i don't advise anyone to buy it it's not cheap though very disappointed
