Hey guys...new drum loop. I think you guys will enjoy these loops a lot more. I will also be able to create more elaborate patterns so look out for 'em in the future if you guys are interested :)
This pattern is a Funky one and the speed is at 100bpm.

I record a drum beats in HD version, check my channel!
As a guitar player barely scratching the surface of a 'passable' beat, I have nothing but the highest regard for such flowing, natural feel to your overall playing & the 'transitions' in particular.
I'm sure I'm not using the proper terminology, but as I said, being a self-taught wanna-be drummer, it feels like I'll never be able to achieve this level of invisible silkiness, the true, pure backbeat.
Hey, thanks! But this is actually just a loop. I'm not playing the drums here. Actually, I'd probably qualify as the worst drummer in the world :) And there's nothing wrong with being self-taught. Leaves more space for originality. Just gotta remain patient and persistent. Hope you enjoyed the loop btw!
I used this drum track with my bass player last night in Cork city and there was a very happy drunk dancing wildy for 1 hour to it. All the tourists were stopping and taking photos. It was like a big rediculous Irish tourist attraction. Thanks for the track. Its awesome.

I’m a new bassist and this is so good for improvising to :) I pulled off some stuff I didn’t think I could do towards the end! Really felt the groove and since there’s only drums I had all the room in the world to find notes that worked. Thanks for this!!
That is incredible to hear, Kevin. and that's exactly why I made these loops... so that you guys can have a ton of fun jamming freely without feeling tied to a certain chord or progression. That happens to me too! Sometimes I jam along to a 20 minute loop, get really deep into the groove and it ends! After which felt like 5 minutes! haha. There's always the replay button though ;)

And I did not mean match I mean if my heart rate would copy the beat because I heard somewhere that your heart will try to copy like beats.

I find this drums difficult to groove. My bass teacher made me try to jam to this but i couldn't. Maybe bass isn't my instrument :(
Don't EVER say that! Grooving is not as easy as people think. Sometimes it takes me an hour to come up with something I can carry on grooving with. What I usually do is find two notes, play them on the second and fourth beats, then once I'm comfortable I'd start filling in the gaps with extra notes, hammer on's etc. etc. You can do it. Just be patient!

That's great! When I was in school we had to learn how to play the recorder. So that means we had to learn a lot of classical and Christmas songs. It sucked ;)
