As a jamaican love the love of Jamacia. As a Jamaican Dad - scare sthe bejesus out of me the ratio of male comanionship and going to remote places and situations. Nothing to do with fear of Jamaica. I'd feel the same in ANY country. Prayers for her dad/parent/parents. You might THINK you understand but you really won't until you have kids.

@@tlove21I am the same, when it comes to my nieces and nephews in Jamaica. I don’t have children, but I’m generally overprotective with them. I think that most people who love children are generally like that… You are less willing to take risks. Call it paranoid, but times now are not like before when I was a child growing up in Jamaica… too many perverts walking around now.
That says more about you than about others. ( a bit over protective and a bit of a controlling personality)😏

I have visited 5 times and think I have missed the essence of Jamaica 4 times. I realised what I had missed by the 5th visit because on the 5th visit, I stayed with my aunt and uncle in contrast to staying in an all-inclusive hotel. My aunt and uncle showed me the real Jamaica, just like you are showing people now.
