Pastor ,when starting this message u asked do u know is there any parable in John?....did u mean that there is no parable in John?......🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻kindly clear my doubt pastor🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
There are no parables at all in John. If you search and find my sermon on the 7 miracles in John, you will be able to understand clearly. Also I explain the purpose of the 4 gospels in a teaching called 'the 4 Gospels' and you may find a little bit of information there as well. Many blessings.
@@suresh-ramachandran but, pastor ! There is a parable in John 10: 1 to 6....in the verse 1 to 5 JESUS says a parable...in verse 6 the verse says ' jesus told them this parable, but they did not understand'.......kindly define me pastor!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Excellent sister Veronica. Let's learn a little bit of Greek now. The Greek word for parable is 'parabole' (παραβολή) which is an untrue story to teach a truth. If you read John 10:1-5, it is not a story but something that "CAN" and "WOULD" happen. Right? Then in verse 6, the Greek says that Jesus spoke this 'paroimia' (παροιμία) which is not a pasable but an allegory or a figure of speech. This same word also appears in John 16:25 &29. The King James Version translates John 10:6 as parable and John 16:25 & 29 as proverb. Kindly check it out. But some other English versions say 'figure of speech' or 'allegory'. So, what I told you is 100% correct that John does not have a single parable. What you see as 'parable' in John 10:6 is not 'parabole' but 'paroimia' which is not a parable but a proverb, allegory or a figure of speech. I don't know whether you know Greek but there may be others who read this and know Greek. So, let me write John 10:6 in the original Textus Receptus Greek: ταύτην τὴν παροιμίαν εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· ἐκεῖνοι δὲ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τίνα ἦν ἃ ἐλάλει αὐτοῖς.Is it clear now? Thanks for your inquiry. I hope you feel happy now sister. Many blessings. Suresh

I think you have not heard me speak about Greek and Hebrew etc. How can all Christians learn Greek and Hebrew? Praise the Lord for the Bible translations which take the Word of God to all the people of the earth in their own languages. Just enjoy the Bible in the language you read. Don't think too much about the original and the translations. Of course when you translate things from one language to another, there will be slight problems here and there. That is why God calls some of us like me to study those languages and expound the truth to the people. I started learning Greek at 18. I learned Greek, Hebrew, Armaic and Akkadian in several countries over a span of 14 years. Can everyone spend such a lot of time, money and effort? No. Also, no need. So please don't worry. Enjoy the Bible as you have been. Listen to my messages and let the Holy Spirit teach you many things. Don't take these things too seriously and become miserable. Enjoy the Word of God.
