Imagine you took every single personal story of every single human being with all their dreams, hopes, triumphs, failures, missed and taken opportunities, paths filled with support and betrayal, loved ones and enemies, grievances and forgiveness, paths leading to a variety of personal goals, then you compressed this mess of feelings and information into at least something that a single human brain is able to comprehend, and made eight songs out of it. This is what this album feels like to me.

Whether or not a fan of the directions this band have gone in, no one can deny the diversity these guys are pulling off. Every single album is something new and recently they’ve broken so many barriers in just experimenting with so many genres. I will admit this EP in particular took me a couple listens to fully understand, until I realised that there isn’t meant to be a deep meaning, they are just making music they wanna make and doing what they enjoy right now. Most bands fizzle out from something great and become another generic radio rock band, however this EP shows even more that BMTH aren’t afraid to take leaps into new territories and I respect them for that.

Correct. Its for the kind of people that participate in the Spirit Weavers Gathering and post filtered snapshots of naked women standing in circles, reaching for the sky. Along with the people who consistently post filtered pics of yoga poses at sunset, temples, and women in peasant dresses standing at the edge of canyons, giving the impression of a simple, humble, nomadic lifestyle before they return to their luxury hotels, and trying to recruit everyone to their positive aura energy rocks and healing essential oils club. people complaining on how bmth don’t sound the same as they did in 2008 clearly don’t understand the concept of personal growth. personally, im really proud of how far bmth has gotten to, and this ep really shows how much they have experimented and finally matured through the years.
As much as i listen to metalcore/deathcore every day, Amo was gold, and this is even more, this make me so happy, please bmth, do whatever you want, this is always good
I truly believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Many don’t like the changes BMTH has made to their music but honestly if you love BMTH you’ll want them to achieve everything they can. ❤️❤️ (thanks so much for the likes guys 😭 literally 129 more likes i ever get on Instagram ❤️)
Actually is really interesting to see the changes in groups and singers like this one. I mean, many did that and the evolution of music is something that always happens and so do they. We may not like all of their songs but with 2 or 3 we can spend a lot of time trying to onderstand the other songs as well TvT
Something completely different from what they’ve ever done, and yet it’s getting more praise than Amo, an album that was “not bmth”. Anyone who didn’t like Amo, you confuse me. I love both Amo and this, especially since it’s different. It’s great that a band can make so many different things and make those different things sound good too. It shows they have more talent than a band that can only do the same thing every time. Sure, i might like their heavier sound more, but i love this style as well. Keep doing what you’re doing, bmth
1- Steal something ( i apologise if feel something ) 2- A devastating liberation ( why you gotta kick me when i'm down) 3- ¿ ( in the dark but is a Halsey)
This is dope. Idk why so many people are hating. Artists grow and change. Let BMTH find their new sound. Personally, I’m digging the experimental/edm thing. I’d totally listen to this while tripping balls. 😂
x _ x who ever said I was a fangirl? Don’t start putting words in people’s mouths now. 🙄 BMTH does have songs I’m not a fan of, but I’m simply saying if you aren’t into it, move on. Don’t hate on it and trash the band for growing and doing what THEY want with THEIR band.
x _ x nah, been listening to them since they first started. So no, I wouldn’t count as one of those “fangirls” that only started listening after TTS and Amo came out. And idk man, I’ve been seeing a lot of hate from all social media platforms. I wasn’t strictly speaking about the comments but the toxic ass fanbase in general. Overall any time BMTH releases something that doesn’t sound like their earlier music, all the whiny ass fake fans cry about how they sold out and new BMTH is trash. That’s the whole reason they wrote the song “Heavy Metal”.
@@christymincks360 first up lemme just say people arent fake fans because they started liking a band that played the genre of music they liked aka post hardcore. if you started digging them cause u first heard count your blessings then u expect to keep liking them because they play heavy shit. doesnt make them fake fans cause they stopped listening when amo dropped. ill be a fan of bmth forever but seriously dislike everything theyve been dropping besides ludens. the only reason i still respect em is because theyre gonna start dropping eps such as this for different fans. metal, pop, edm etc. but dont call anyone fake when they just want something they fell in love with all over again. music is art art is subjective. noones wrong noones right in the end.
It's the kinda music which will just play in the background while you get on with your day. Has elements from all kinds of music genres, so you won't get bored. A masterpiece indeed, more experiments like this please. The name has been justified.
I think it perfectly represents how people will listen to any shit of someone they admire, wether artist, politician or whatever else. This garbage is just a bunch of noise and if a "band" would come out with this now, no one would listen to it, but since they were famous before and have grown their audience from metalheads to hipsters from sempiternal to amo, minor parts from all the gernres combine into a group claiming: "Hey this isn't bad; this is so deep" and so on. This is completetly distorted from their roots, and in my optinion a modern form of dadaism, perceived as "deep mainstream music". But thats just my opinion and if people like it that's their thing, I won't listen to this and anything of them that isn't connected to metal or rock anymore... :/
@@gabiestired Why did you waste your time asking me, about wasting my time on my opinion, because thats the answer, I wanted to share my opinion 😂😂 chill for a bit 😂 Also adding that it's not like I don't care about the band, I love their old music, like them as people, but it's sad to see what their music has become, and I think that they should rename and rebrand the band, because it frankly isn't just all about the members, for one it's about the genre and style, but even more importantly about the fans. The people who got them where they are now, listening to count your blessings and suicide season, aren't the same people listening to in the dark or mother tounge anymore. Their entire fanbase has changed and to many people it seems, like it's about money or fame, disguised as this "we just want to try out new things and expand our horizon". And as a metal musician I can say that I'll cerntainly would never enjoy listening, let alone making such music, which is think they don't, I mean the drummer doesn't do anything anymore, what would be so fun about that, I feel sorry for him... 😂
This is what was supposed to be BMTH7 well the new and probably last BMTH album, its a collection of unique tracks and collaborations works with other artists my guess is that these are all the ideas and scrapped material that didnt made it into AMO but they re arranged it into a full album and i gotta say its amazing

Welcome to a creative process, everyone. That's how things are made. They don't just puff into existence. There are experimentation, trial and error, exploration. And then you mold it into the final piece. This EP right here is the raw mineral that was faceted into the AMO diamond.
this album is still my favorite. I wish there were behind the scenes content for it though >< like I just want to know everything about it…but I guess the mystery is part of the appeal

I really am digging it this time. Would be a hell of an album to actually trip to.

i listened to this w my roommate on acid and the shift of my brain after that trip was so beautiful i feel like i processed so much and came to understand things that i knew but just hadn’t clicked properly - this sound isn’t for everyone but those who do like it, we’re cut from the same cloth and i feel connected to u
this feels like the peak of their experimental creativity.
Don’t jinx it, they’ll take that as a challenge lmao
I hope it isn't
Yeah right
Honestly I hope they go even further than this
people complaining on how bmth don’t sound the same as they did in 2008 clearly don’t understand the concept of personal growth. personally, im really proud of how far bmth has gotten to, and this ep really shows how much they have experimented and finally matured through the years.
If you'd told me 5 years ago we were gonna get an Oli Sykes guided meditation, I would have spat out my oat milk latte
As much as i listen to metalcore/deathcore every day, Amo was gold, and this is even more, this make me so happy, please bmth, do whatever you want, this is always good
Just found this a week ago, it's soo good honestly
This is what a question mark feels like
Lol!
Doesn’t it sort of have an essence of ‘in the dark’
The track with Halsey I mean ^
Aubrey Rain he is referring to the album being confusing, not the track “¿”
It been like... 12 year i didnt listen to BMTH, im really confused too but it pretty good tho!
Each album they drop gets them even closer to the horizon
It makes the horizon wider.
Would be dope if they made a track for the upcoming Horizon game on PS5
So we started the year with BMTH and now we're ending it with them. It's an absolute perfection👌
Confused? Good. Art isn't predictable.
@Rhys’s Lowlux ok
Rian Johnson approves! #TheLastJedi
@Rhys’s Lowlux You do realize that the only shit here is your opinion?
@Rhys’s Lowlux just shut up
I've never been more positively confused in MY LIFE
When I saw the duration of the song I as like "Is it an error?" And then I clicked. No it is not but god what an experience!
I truly believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Many don’t like the changes BMTH has made to their music but honestly if you love BMTH you’ll want them to achieve everything they can. ❤️❤️
(thanks so much for the likes guys 😭 literally 129 more likes i ever get on Instagram ❤️)
BMTH B I T C H this 💯🖤
i love and support them regardless the music gender
Actually is really interesting to see the changes in groups and singers like this one. I mean, many did that and the evolution of music is something that always happens and so do they. We may not like all of their songs but with 2 or 3 we can spend a lot of time trying to onderstand the other songs as well TvT
31:43 thats for the metal fans, thank me later ( it doesn't go for long but it's still Great)
Thanks
🖤
WOW THANKS!!!
Thank you 🙏🏼
THANKYOUUUU SO MUCH
It's impressive how Bring Me The Horizon can make ANYTHING sound good
What music do you listen to?
Me a bmth fan: well its complicated
Something completely different from what they’ve ever done, and yet it’s getting more praise than Amo, an album that was “not bmth”. Anyone who didn’t like Amo, you confuse me. I love both Amo and this, especially since it’s different. It’s great that a band can make so many different things and make those different things sound good too. It shows they have more talent than a band that can only do the same thing every time. Sure, i might like their heavier sound more, but i love this style as well. Keep doing what you’re doing, bmth
1- Steal something ( i apologise if feel something )
2- A devastating liberation ( why you gotta kick me when i'm down)
3- ¿ ( in the dark but is a Halsey)
u sure?
@@ToadPilzkopf agree with him
@Mortal Wombat do not. listen. Why you kick minute 2:31 and you will see this background ring.
I am listening to this stoned as hell and im really loving this music glad they didn't say anythng about making this, made it easier to listen to.
@x _ x yeah, you don't know shit bro lmao
This is a EP bro... This is not their now sound. A lot of this was testing for Amo
I don't understand anything but I like it.
Cris Titan same 🤣
Nothing to understand. Just enjoy the ride.

art boi, this is art
This is an EP consisting of all the scrapped material in the mad creation process for amo.
You know that the real trip is coming when Oli says "Close your eyes" c:
God I wanted his last repetition of that to be a scream, can you imagine?
@@libraincarnate kind "Close your eyes not just yet, sleep is just a cousin of death" hahahaha yeah i can imagine.
where does he say that
@@craesce1167 i don't remember well, but is when the real trip starts, min. 35:38 or thereabout.
It's a lovely trip
@@Jemand-if5dj then why do you even reply and call this garbage? like.... idk? don't waste your time and go listen to music you actually like? maybe?
@@gabiestired Why did you waste your time asking me, about wasting my time on my opinion, because thats the answer, I wanted to share my opinion 😂😂 chill for a bit 😂
Also adding that it's not like I don't care about the band, I love their old music, like them as people, but it's sad to see what their music has become, and I think that they should rename and rebrand the band, because it frankly isn't just all about the members, for one it's about the genre and style, but even more importantly about the fans. 😂
"What genre is BMTH even??"
BMTH: Yes
Its Hard To Imagine What We Can Expect In Next Years :D
'undefined ' my friend
It’s shit that’s already been done and been done much better. BMTH are a joke and not innovative in any way.

This is what was supposed to be BMTH7 well the new and probably last BMTH album, its a collection of unique tracks and collaborations works with other artists my guess is that these are all the ideas and scrapped material that didnt made it into AMO but they re arranged it into a full album and i gotta say its amazing
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE LAST BMTH ALBUM
@@leonsalgeuro Oliver said on the Ludens interview that they weren't interested on producing a full length album anymore and would only release small projects from now on
@@shobitts1127 This is one of those projects. These are just demos and unreleased tracks from amo. I don't think we'll ever get an LP7 but Oli said they'll release a bunch of EP's in various genres.
@@leonsalgeuro Amo is probably the last full album we'll ever get. But we'll get multiple EP releases in the next few years.

Welcome to a creative process, everyone.
That's how things are made. They don't just puff into existence. There are experimentation, trial and error, exploration. And then you mold it into the final piece.
This EP right here is the raw mineral that was faceted into the AMO diamond.
What a nice view on it, they must have experienced a lot of things to realize amo and we can have here a glimpse of it
what is amo
@@Μόνοθρας another dimension
I must say that in this case the mineral looks better than the diamond
Amo itself is a creative process, one that leads to Ludens, Parasite eve, and eventually, Post-human

Pink Floyd vibes.

this album is still my favorite. I wish there were behind the scenes content for it though >< like I just want to know everything about it…but I guess the mystery is part of the appeal
"like seeing spiders..." should have done it to the album
Roman Mishta this was probably recently written
Gregory Gonzalez it was
Gregory Gonzalez these are songs that didn’t make amo, so not written recently, but some might’ve been mixed/completed recently.

And yea this is realy a piece of art!
*friend:* hey, what's your favourite song?
*me:* i dunno man, i've really been digging "±ªþ³§" and "¿" lately
I listened to this while going to sleep last night and was pretty underwhelmed. I didn't think it would grow on me. But I'm listening again wide awake and with the sound turned up. And wow. Mind changed. This really is a trip but it isn't just for the sake of shock value that it is good. It almost reminds me reanimation but more edm and ambient influenced. I really am digging it this time.
Would be a hell of an album to actually trip to.

The only way to make the system aware of the pain it inflicts on us is to inflict a little of it back. Skillfully.

Fan since 2007- loved every single song they’ve produced. Not one song that I never liked. Understanding that we all changed and experiment in our own ways. They’ve matured. Sometimes I wanna listen to that head banging screeching-screaming-growling old shit they have and sometimes I just wanna vibe and smoke and CHILL. They got that too. How can you bash on a band that’s trying it all? I love the variety cause it doesn’t get old. Forever fan my dude 🤘🏼🤙🏻 much love
Ashley Lucas couldn’t agree more
Exactly! Not everyone will vibe with it but then again, not everyone is meant to. This kinda music is for those who are openminded. Not the fans that just wanna bitch any time a metal band lays off the screaming and breakdowns. It’s a really annoying part of the metal community.
Ashley Lucas imagine a band where they never sound the same. Evolve within its look sound touch. It’s kinda crazy to see a small deathcore band rollercoaster in so many directions and continue to have the same amount of fans no matter the sound.
