@ReiZula Baobab were not the first to play Afro-Latin music in Africa, not by far. It's pretty much impossible to say who did-Afro-Latin music records were first brought to many cities all over Africa in the 30's, and were very well loved and imitated all over. The earliest domestically produced and recorded Afro-Latin music in Africa that I know about is from the Congo in the late 40s. But certainly there were people playing it elsewhere that didn't get recorded.
