If i heard it correctly:
1) We know it in our heart when we have done something wrong, so we feel guilty.
But most people do not say: "Sorry, i have done this wrong." They blame it on somebody else. They take their garbage and put it on another human being and they keep doing that.
2) We feel uncertain about what we do, because it is not in line with our true purpose. It is due to our conditioning that we do other things than what we really wanted, because so so many times our parents/society said NO. And when we are uncertain, we quickly feel guilty.
I have a question:
Can we feel guilty due to family lineage issues? That we as their descendents carry the burden of what they have done during their life, but kept that a secret?

This is called transgenerational trauma in phychotherapy. It can be based on guilt for something you have never done or fear of something that never endangered you.
