This week on the Ident Review, we take a look at some more horror based idents, just before we hit October and Halloween season. Its the late 90's Bravo Idents!

Funny thing is... goldfish is similar to a modern art peice done sometime after this was broadcast
It involved 20 goldfish and 20 blenders, each blender had a goldfish in them... those blenders were plugged in... it ended in someone turning one of the blenders on out of curiosity... making a goldfish smoothie
About the grenade in the bunnies thing... how is it NO ONE thought of Monty Python and the Holy Grail? It was clearly a reference to the evil bunny blown up by the Holy Hand Grenade.
If you wanna know who recorded some of the idents in crappy quality, it's me.
I recorded most of the Bravo 1997 idents with my camera (not a phone) because I don't know how to use a video downloader at the time, and those ones were on Halfbricktv2's channel before it got terminated while the HalfbrickVHS channel still remains. I could've used the downloader beforehand though, lel. I hear the apology tho.
Interesting ident history. The Bravo idents became less disturbing and unsettling back in 2001, which shows male-oriented programming, from what I recall. [correct me if i'm wrong.]
Some of the idents are VERY unsettling to me, like the rabbit one. That one was horrible.

I took the original video down, in other words, privated it, because I don't want my logo videos getting more popular and I don't want kids watching the Bravo UK idents.
Bob did salvage the video, so there's that.

You should do an Ident Review episode on Bravo UK's 2010-11 rebrand, which have idents with their slogan at the time, "Home Of The Brave", randomly placed somewhere in the scenes of the idents, with a transparent Bravo UK logo in the center of the screen. A UA-camr named Marcel Adadevoh Ntim has a whole 2 minute video of clean Bravo UK 2010-11 idents.
The musical sting has ruined their effect to me since all I can think of is Gordan Ramsey giving someone a bollocking.
"IT'S A BOWL OF MAGGOTS, FOR FUCKS SAKE! SHUT THE CHANNEL DOWN!"
The one with the piercing was emphasizing the pubic hair which was shaved in the bravo logo style.

Apologies for commenting again, but I wanna give y'all who remembers the idents a heads up.
The final batch of idents near the end of this review that I (unfortunately) recorded in poor quality have now been resurfaced in higher quality by HalfbrickVHS himself. It's a blessing (or a curse cuz, this is Bravo we're talking about) because I'd like to see these idents without the poor quality.
You seriously cannot watch these without whimpering.
The belly button piercing scared me the most, tbh. Grater takes 2nd and Eyeballs is 3rd

Bob the Tomato was the person who reuploaded the video compiling the idents. I was the original uploader before I privated it because I don't feel pleased with the compilation. Plus, I recorded some idents in crappy quality, which also sucks.

I forgot The Twisted Firestarter had a couple of Bravo logos. And I started watching it when more nostalgia programming like WCW Wrestling post TCM, ECW Wrestling and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Sci-Fi stuff joint it as well.

History of Bravo 1985-2011.
1985-1997
A grey oval-shaped logo with zappy black text that spells 'Bravo' and broadcasts re-runs of B Movies from the 50s and 60s.
1997-2000
The logo is the text 'Bravo' and the O is a devil-like head with a fiery center and this time, it broadcasts Sci-fi and Horror movies.
2000-2007
Their logo is now their iconic O in white and orange and they broadcasts motor and game shows by the BBC.
2007-2011
The devil head is glass now and promise to be like other TV channels and set a calming touch to their idents and broadcast reality shows.
In an alternate universe
2011-present: The Devil head gets into weird positions and the channel broadcasts anime

The Firestarter is a character created by The Prodigy by the way and he had a famous music video still shown on your 90s MTV and NOW before it was Rock even today so The Firestarter is pretty big in pop culture I'm surprised you didn't know him 4 years ago when this was made but you probably know him by now after all the coverage since especially in clip on the Channel 5 videos and songs of the 90s run and the yearly updated versions.
What's the music at the start of the video? It's catchy.

Late 90s bravo was wild. Sci-fi weren't far behind either, their headf--k weekend was insanity.
Dose anyone from the uk remember on bravo a show that was on it was called head f#%k or somthing if it helps it would have a dachsund dog on a black background. but had some weird shit on it think it was very early 2000s, cant find any track on it to find it. Help. Great video again adam

@@bluefrogTV_ Like I said, it was one of the people involved in the production of the Bravo idents. Other than that I can't remember their name.
Last I check, the infamous "Alternative Species of Television" ident was...
