Being an English speaker I pronounce Uniek's name 'unique' meaning - one of a kind. The way she took possession of that helpless orphan was absolutely all she will ever need to have done in her life to qualify as a Queen; 'unique' and a credit to motherhood. Your stable is truly blessed.
They are so closely bonded: they stay so close together and Rising Star obviously trusts Unieq completely and depends on her, and she in her turn is so deeply protective and caring of Rising Star... It's as if the mother/foal bond is especially strong for this pair, and it's wonderful and beautiful to see.
It just goes to show you - the bond comes from the caring. It’s not automatic. My bond with my son came as I cared for him and it grew every day. So adoptive parents can absolutely feel the same bond and love a birth parent does.
I think it’s because Uniek understands that she has been gifted this foal after losing her own, and that she has been trusted enough to mother him. Horses are extremely emotionally intelligent animals. The little one also knew that this wasn’t his mother when he first arrived, but his instinct was to nurse..I’m sure by now he was completely forgotten that anyone other than the Queen was his Mum..the bond between them is just beautiful to see.
Did anyone notice how curious the little guy was as he paused to check out things on the way out but mom walked too fast so he had to catch up. That's very healthy i would think.
Both horses are so lucky to have had the fast action of their caretakers and wisdom to get them together so quickly! It made a big difference in them bonding! Good timing.

So good to be able to look back on how small Risey was. How sweet they were together!
It’s fun watching RS discover running & kicking! He even got Uniek to gallop a bit. I’m so happy they’re doing great.💞
I can almost hear Uniek say “ be careful now” when Rising Star starts running off! 😊❤️❤️❤️
This is so beautiful to see both mother and son put together to heal both of them just beautiful ❤The joy from watching that little foal realise he can run and jump made my heart so happy!
I'm glad it turned out like this. Lucky Rising Star. Frisians are wonderful horses. We had one as well. We miss him so much.
I love the closeness of these two! Mom is staying near her baby as he ventures out a bit to romp around. What a beautiful story. I feel privileged to witness it. Thank you so much for sharing these very special moments with us. 💌
This is such a beautiful story of adoption. She is a wonderful mom with so much love to give her Colt. Thank you for letting us be a part of her story
The mother and son ballet was so beautiful to watch. Thank you so much for taking these calming videos just when the world could use them. My heart smiles when I watch them.
Unforgettable! Such happy moments! ❤
Very proud mother. Maternal instinct is incredibly powerful
It's wonderful watching him discover how powerful and awesome his legs are. "Just look at me Go, Ma.!" 💗
he runs so happy I 💙itt mumz& baby stallion
He was so excited, like he knew she's gotta get that fluid out of her belly. Chase me mommy! It reminded me of the movie Bambi, when his momma took him to the meadow the first time❣
@@maritzacaruth9283 Where do you think they drew inspiration from for the animation? Deer aren't exactly on demand, yet horses are everywhere and a decent substitute for walk cycles and motion and such.
@@Undomaranel to the contrary, Walt & Roy Disney actually Did bring deer to the studios to aid the artists depiction in Bambi. I have footage of this on my Bambi Collector's Edition. Your condescending tone is inaccurate, rude & not welcome here. Have yourself a better day though. ✌
I had to come back and watch our little prince...boy his mom is so good, she sticks to him and him to her like glue..LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the video. Continued prayers for you both.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! 💞💕 That little foal completely believes that Uniek is his mother & Uniek believes the foal is her baby! Uniek was a little confused when the foal was first brought to her, but that didn't last long! She absolutely accepted him, would protect him with her life, & loves him beyond all measure! ♥ They adore each other!!!
I cannot get over how beautiful the Fresian horses are. Queen is such a protective and good mother to Rising Star. If I were 30 years younger, I would definitely want a Fresian. Stunningly beautiful horses. Thank you for sharing your beautiful babies.
It is absolutely beautiful how Uniek has adopted the foal without hesitation.
I am soooo invested in Uniek and rising star’s story, please don’t stop posting updates!
I so agree. First thing I do when I turn my computer on is go to youtube, look for Friesian Horse videos and then look for Uniek and Rising Star. I apologize to all you other Friesian horses, and Johnny, I look for you also.
Yes..please post more follow up's
This is so beautiful! They’re a match made in heaven.
Such a huge majestic stunning horse, now she has this cute adorable baby! I hope she focuses on this new furry baby instead of her loss!
Rising Star is such a handsome colt and lots of personality.
Uniek has a unique baby and is a curious thing to the other horses. She's proud of her baby 👍
Yep, and baby is like so many young ones. Curious about everything and want's to stop or hesitate to inspect. Everything is so new. It's a beautiful thing.

It was set up by God that this mare and this foal get together. Owners should keep them together as long as possible before weaning off
As a cat I agree
@@ПетрИванов-р5о glad I'm not the only one thinking so. He was sent to her but something happen. He didn't have time so he had to settle in another womb fast until faith brought them together. That's my story. Lol
Seeing this young colt outside kicking and jumping fills my heart with warmth and happiness
Uniek and Risey always guaranteed to make you smile! ❤
Queen Uniek is one of a kind. What a beautiful mare. I'm so happy she and Risey found each other. 👑💫♥
Uniek is use to a crowd to watch her. Now with Rising Star beside her, she makes her presence felt across the Fresian horses family and all line up to pay her the attention she deserves. Rising Star your fitting in well. Congratulations Yvonne and the team.
When the Queen called the court came running.
@@thomasnoveck7679, you are so right
Cannot stop smiling watching new mama Queen Uniek and baby RS.
She's so beautiful, she's so proud. What a wonderful mom she is, he's very lucky. ❤️🩹🐎🐴💖
Although I've seen this many times, I love to watch again for the joy of this bonding!
The baby has a beautiful gait. And sticks to his mom's side like glue. Absolutely beautiful.
The Best!
Uniek looks so proud. They have definitely bonded. What a little rocket he is trying out his new legs. So beautiful!! They are so good for each other. What a gorgeous place you all live in. Great place to raise beautiful foals.
It's amazing to see Rising Star galloping for the first time!
What I enjoy, not only watching these beautiful animals, but learning as you talk us through the video. Thank you!!!
I just think it’s amazing that this little foal is SO attached to his “mom”. 🥰. And Uniek really doesn’t leave him out of her sight for a moment. 🥰
Out of difficulty comes the forge of a bond between the horses and the people as well
What a Beautiful picture of two creatures meeting the needs of another! God's magnificent creations.
That is amazing that they took to each other. I smiled through the whole to videos. I am a horse lover and miss them do much.
Uniek is such a beautiful, proud mother! She and Star are so fortunate they had you kind souls to bring them together.
Rising Star is such a beautiful foal, he is a comfort to Uniek and she is his lovely mem!♥🐴♥
Lol, I was getting dizzy watching Uniek turn and turn to keep her eye on Rising Star. Very good Mom.💖
Rising Star precious baby..Uniek we love and miss you
I love how Uniek was walking in front of the others looking like such a proud momma 😭💕💕 she was like “ Yes this is my BOY!”
Is the other light brown horse the daddy?
@@canadianbeef1958 No - Uniek's baby was stillborn. The next day, they got a call about a foal born only a few hours before Uniek's baby was, whose mom passed of colic. So, they tried putting the two together in hopes they'd be able to help each other, and it was love at first sight!
@@canadianbeef1958 The other light brown horse is Sjors, he is a gelding. But you're right, the colour and the white spots are so similar.
You folks do wonderful work with all the horses and they are so appreciative and trusting that you are doing the best for all of them. You are to be congratulated for such fine work with your horses.
Would it be silly of me to say I could watch them all day long and enjoy every second of it?
Rising Star's confidence is growing! His mama Uniek is so protective of him...the other horses understand and seem to be happy for Uniek. What a lovely story. Thank you Yvonne. Bless you.❤
What good mama! And she stands so proud of her baby.
I often remember the beginning of Uniek's and Risey's 💞 story, then I return to watch them again! 💘
They bonded so beautifully, both having just gone through the same thing. Those two were meant to be. Bless the ones who crossed the rainbow bridge... So beautiful to watch these two. She's an amazing Mumma.
I know this happened awhile ago, but this is so sweet! Animals are amazingly resilient. Little Rising Star ✨ has the "zoomies" and it's hilarious 😆! I love how Mama kept after him while he galloped, jumped, and ran those zoomies out of his system.
Watching adoption stories and this popped up. Amazing mama and her boy. She couldn’t love him more if he came from her own body. Beautiful
Uniek was such a good mum; she never let Risey venture far. ❤😍
I've shared this to a friend who is recovering from an operation in hospital. She has had horses and ponies all her life so I'm hoping this will make her smile until she can get home to her own four legged friend.
She's so protective of her baby, and it's good that Rising Star is moving around. It gets mom moving also.
the buck so cute
This is the most precious video I have ever seen. I could watch all day.
Rising Star is so adorable prancing around for his first time outdoors. Bringing a smile to all of us around the world.
i love how she always keep her eyes on her baby whenever he is galloping around her
such a good protective mom!
I never tire of watching this.
At least we can remember the good times with Queen Uniek. May you rest in peace, you wonderful mare...
