This love triangle didn't age well. I mean - Jacob with Renesme is creepy. Bella needs friend or at least a therapist. Edward symbolize death while Jacob life and Bella is literally suicidal. It's not like I'm team Jacob but Edward is crazy pick, I don't get how someone could ever ship them. If the story was right it would be no Renesme and Jacob winning Bella OR no Renesme and Bella ending up alone. OR they would handle it better like in The vampire diaries where Elena isn't ok with being vampire, she doesn't wanna die but when she does she got the support of her love interests and friends. You can see/read Bella wanting to die so much all the time and I know it might be more real for some really dark teenage years but she actually died, fell in love with dead man and thought it was epic. Big NO. Also even if Edward didn't hurt her - vampires are known for killing people - either by drinking them or ADDING them to their families by turning them. When they don't kill them just because of blood then they have to have some affection towards them. Edward loves Bella? Maybe. Or... You know, maybe he just did and told her everything that needed to be done so she could take her place right next to him which is a very vampire thing to do. I know that this story is about love but that doesn't mean that it can't be interpreted like that. And this interpretation it makes more and more weird. Again, I'm not team Jacob but I love him for being the only one who actually tried to save her from her suicidal thoughts and was the warm and life in that story that she could hold on. Yes, he is with her kid now and that's weird and being werewolf also isn't the best but from Bella's perspective when she could stay alive and didn't change at all I would call that a win.
