- I am opening up 16 value packs of 2024 Topps Series 1. Are these worth the $7 per pack? You can pull some nice things but are they hit or miss. What is the best retail value out there for 2024 Topps Series 1? Let me know in the comments below.

I got an Ohtani SSP from a $3.99 pack from target yesterday. Bought the whole box but still very happy with the hit. Still don’t know what to do with it. New to the hobby
The Ohtani’s and Sotos are mixed in the base cards btw so it makes looking through base more exciting
Its fun pulling a case hit out of retail.
Pulled a team collar match out of a hanger... and a numbered to 799 purple harris II.. for my pc
congrats on that team color border. tough to find. i agree tho, probably hangers are the best bang for the buck.
I think so too, the parallels in Monster boxes, blasters and hangers make it a better value in my opinion. If you can get these cheaper like close to $5 a pack then they could be more of a contender. I've seen people pull nice things out of value packs.

I opened my first 6 fat packs I got an Independence Day anthony rizzo and then I got just got 9 more nothing crazy though. Hangers have been the win for me 👍🏼
I prefer the hangar boxes but I did pull a blue Dominguez out of a Value pack
Yeah you can pull so nice stuff out of value packs but hangers do seem like a better deal.
These are pretty cool cards. Retail does have a special card in every pack. I am hoping to get some hangers or mega boxes later.
Bought 4. 3 was duh the last one I hit color match retail blue mariners team card, Jackson Wolf rc 89 auto,and a post season performance Alek Thomas relic to 99 lol last pack mojo to the fullest lol

Pulled a decent RC /799 and an Adley /199 out of 4 packs.
Pulled a Randy Arozarena HFA out of a hanger. My first HFA.

I pulled a 1989 Jackie Robinson numbered 79/89 and its white border and I dont see any other white border numbered Jackie’s on ebay so far, its almost as low numbered as the gold version which is to /75 I find that kinda strange
There are greatest hits with Autos. I think I have seen them on eBay.

Topps seems to make it almost impossible to get any # cards in retail 🤔
No that's not true, in blasters and hangers you can pull numbered cards pretty easy and same with Monster or Mega boxes. Hobby and Jumbo boxes only have like 1-3 numbered cards in most of them from what I've seen.
I pulled some on my first two packs
Try the megas. I got 2 in every box

I love these value packs I wish they would stay at $5 for that was more affordable I think if you buy in bulk they should only be $5 each
I think at the $5 price they would be a much better buy for sure. You can find them on discount at some places and if so it would be a more affordable rip.
