So while Tanjiro was struggling to breathe. In that scene in the manga the author talks saying that humans have 2 limits. A stamina and life limit. Tanjiro was about to go over his life limit. If his sister hadn't told him to breathe he would have died. Also there was a cool line saying "If Humans could harness the power of hatred and anger...then demons would have disappeared from this world a long time ago"

Ep. 19 overrated
In the manga they showed some of the civilians with chunks sliced out of their heads, decapitated, etc. but also Tanjiro didn't cut her leg. He basically ripped off Daki's leg, or at least he had the grip strength to hold it as she was tearing herself free.
Yea I was hoping it goes as gory as the manga since this season was published at late night show. At least it didn't censored completely

If you think about it, last time on season 1, he threatened Genya by breaking his arm to let go of that girl. And he managed to actually hurt him for a moment. Imagine the strength he has right now.

@@Oakland510 Yep, the manga is decent but in terms of story it's not really what you can call a masterpiece, there's a lot of unexplained stuff, and a lot of things seems just to happen for no reason (a lot of Tamayo stuff). The fact that towards the ending, it was pretty much being rushed doesn't help either. Still a good read tho.

it wasn't Tanjiro causing any fear and it wasn't Daki that felt fear. Tanjiro was basically saying the same thing as the "shadowed figure" which triggered Muzans memories since Daki has a good amount of Muzans blood in her. It was muzans cells in her that was having ptsd

Ufotable for sure made it popular but Demon Slayer does have a really solid story with good characters
For the most part, it's a pretty average story with ok characters. But there are fun moments like these.
after this arc the story goes to trash actually, especially closer to the end of the series it becomes basically the game of thrones of anime lol.

@@yvngyagami it was that bad lmfao, the author literally wrote themself into a hole at the end, you could literally tell the end of demon slayer from the start of the infinity castle arc and if you couldnt then something is wrong with you lol. it ended in the most predictable garbage way possible, sorry if you're a fan boy but thats the truth. sword smith and training arcs were meh and the last arc was utterly disappointing.
you want to know whats funny, GoT went bad because they ran out of source material and started to rush the ending with their own storyline/pace of story, KnY has completed source material and still had a horrible ending, let that sink in lmfao.

I really like the part when Daki saw a glimpse of Muzan's memory that shows a figure of a Swordsman with a mark on his forehead. As Manga reader , I already know who that guy is, but I dont want to spoil it to non manga reader / anime only. All I can say that he is not Tanjiro's dad , I can assure you that . Hopefully as the season progressess, more are revealed about that guy.

People need to stop underestimating Daki (That’s how extreme she is) because literally she pushed Tanjiro and Nezuko to there limits in order to even get CLOSE to beaten her Tanjiro was literally on his last breath bout to die give credit where it’s due cause if it took this much from them with an upper 6 imagine the others to come…..plus reading the manga am definitely shows how powerful these demons are.

Honestly I don’t think Tanjiro necessarily lvld up this ep I think he just entered a state where he was able to push himself over his limit in order to defeat Daki. Cause remember when Tanjiro uses Sun breathing or whatever it’s called (couldn’t figure out how to spell the Japanese name lol) it takes a HUGE toll on his body. Even Tanjiro said in the ep that he wasn’t born with the mark and he feels his body just isn’t capable to fully use the Sun breathing form. After Daki slaughtered the people in the building Tanjiro pretty much lost it. Especially hearing how she spoke so badly about the people. So he forced his body to be able to use the Sun breathing form against her to the point where he literally stopped breathing. That’s why he collapses at the end.
Yea tho in manga the author mentioned tanjiro almost surpassed his human level of breathing like the life limit he would die if his sister didn’t came and stopped him but I think like before Yoriichi could showed up and warn him that would be more badass and we could see the connection of these 2 more nicely in the anime

When the episode first got on crunchyroll I was so excited to see it. But then I saw my wifi was acting up and I turned off the episode. I can not watch a fight while the quality drops due to poor connection. I raced to fix everything and decided to then wait more later on. And then I see u guys reacted to it and oml I loved the episode lmao. It's also the fact that I was also waiting on watching AOT as well that had me mad excited. 😭
Nezuko and tanjiro in this episode were everything and I cant wait for next week. I'm so excited. I also enjoyed the reaction. I agree that at times we do easily forget nezuko but in a way, I like it. Demon slayer doesnt make u forget her because she is simply unimportant or because she isnt developed much as a character. Many older anime series have done that to their female characters,characters that actually have potential and the episodes can pass while viewers seeing or knowing where tf they are. Like they disappear and many times dont get built up. I do love the series that dony follow that or dont discard good characters, animes like gintama,FMAB, jjk, and such are series that do good building and dont feel like certain characters turn into strangers during big arcs. Nezuko comes and then she goes. We know she is resting in the box but they dont show her. But as we see that Tanjiro is the main character and how him,inosuke and zenitsu improve alot,we also get Nezuko coming THROUGHHHHH. She isnt overexaggerated nor do I feel robbed as my anticipation rose. She comes out great. Lol I'm really trying hard to explain my thoughts but I tend to ramble with these long comments. I just love how the characters are. The fight and visuals were beautiful and the pacing was great. I definitely think DS's storyline is super nice,its not all over the place and neither is it lacking. Its comfortable and easy and the emotion is what captures me alot. I loved the episode lmao. I'm excited for next week and looking foward to the AOT reaction.
