Tinubu did nothing for Lagos, don't be deceived. The same way they said Fashola did wonders in Lagos but when he was appointed federal minister his failures became evident. Lagos, due to its strategic location and wealthy population, has always being a trail blazer amongst states. Remember, Lagos was once the federal capital of Nigeria, for every N1.00 spent in Nigeria, N0.40k is spent in Lagos that is 40% of all expenditure in Nigeria;- this is how Lagos has always being before Tinubu and will be after him. The story of Lagos state is like the story of a son that inherited landed property in Ikoyi/Victoria Island, while another son inherited landed property in Ajegunle/Agege, and both sons sought for investors to develop their land. Pls tell me which land will investors flock to develop? It doesn't take a genius to increase IGR of Lagos. Any civil servant working in the state parastatals knows which sectors / activities can generate cash in the state.

Tinubu in his 8years there was no strike while Obi had more than one strike that last year,,the IGR of Lagos increase from 600millions to more than 20billions while Obi remains the same. The roads that Tinubu did since 2000i is there not washed away while the one Obi did 2014 has washed away. Tinubu still date there is no insecurity while Obi insecurity was order of the day. Where Tinubu was paying fees for WAEC students and bursary to university students,your obi was forcing secondary students to 3terms school fees. Point of Correction: Tinubu couldn't replicate lagos in all of the APC states across the west this past 7 years, and this is because the actual growth in lagos can only be traced to Mr. Baba Tunde and Mr. Ambode, the former governors who fought heavily against Tinubu to make lagos what it is.
