The opening credits here are very clever. It makes us think that Final Destination 5 takes place after The Final Destination, since it shows us the causes of deaths of the victims (or at least anything involved with the deaths), and the opening disasters. It makes the plot twist of Final Destination 5 being a prequel to Final Destination 1 makes it more impactful.
Isn’t the beginning explosion referencing Billy’s death? (At least stated by the wiki) also the scissors reference both Samantha and Tod’s death, though I’m not sure why they didn’t just go for a bloody rock to smash through the screen (probably because it’s lame)

When I was in high school, I had a crazy idea for the final destination franchise. The big news kill: a train over heats, falls apart and derails. Small group of college students get of (female visionary, her boyfriend, her dad, and nine other friends (keep in mind I'm trying to remember)) Train goes, visionary tries to stop it (Some of the students are in high school and a few parents chaperone (including visionary's parents)) Train blows and fall apart, killing those on board (including visionary's other classmates & mother) A few weeks later, visionary depressed and her dad and boyfriend continue to be there for her to help her. Death starts killing the survivors. The hint to the deaths are in the video the visionary took before the train took off. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.

At 3:02 When Flight 180 Crash is displayed there is a 'V' sign which symbolizes that Flight 180 will be there in fifth movie. This film was the best of the series! And it had the best twist and prequel reveal in any movie ever!
This is one of the best horror film franchises because it has the typical pattern and troupes of most franchises. You have the first film, clever and novel concept to lure in the audience, the two sequels that were as good or maybe better than the original, the fourth film the was super cheesy and goofy fun, so bad its good and never takes itself too seriously and the 3-D gimmick and the fifth film which is also in 3-D, has the best accident with the bridge collapse, a nod to The Mothman Prophecies, another amazing horror film, the best characters with depth and emotions and relatability and the best twist with it being a prequel, ending where the first film began. Its kind of like the original Halloween franchise.
If I was a survivor in Final Destination series,I would be like the second from last to die in list. Because being the visionary is so anxious and terrifying.

I agree... saw this at IMAX in 3D, and it was so sick... I told everyone about it for days. This gotta be one of the best final destination films ever made and also the ending Is definitely surprising that’s it a prequel the whole entire time.
Correction:
3:11- Billy Hitchcock
3:21- Carter Daniels Hook
Actually this is still the death of Carter daniels cuz in the premonition of the nascar accident, we see his wife and himself cut by a flying car part
3:11 is actually Ian McKinney's death since it's a cherry picker
@@Fredster_Real25 No, it's carter's death (FD4)
@@FW3266 it doesn't look like Carter's due to it not being a sign, and plus the shape of the object looks more like the picker that crushes Ian. If it was Carter, it would look more like it would swing down on the camera, and it would probably had the Le Miro 081 sign
One of the best opening credits to a movie, EVER. So good.
last comment for tonight: I love how this sequence has things coming at the screen and then just smashing thru it, with shards of shattered glass left over.
This sequence warranted the 3-d format by itself even before the movie officially started. Anyone else agree?
Gotta admit final destination 5 was well thought out and real good even with the best open credit scene ever
I wish I could've seen this in 3D.
😟TRUST ME! you don't I saw in 3D just after the bridge scene I started walking out of the theater but then after 5 min I went back in ...... I know😒 I'm a🐔 just my opinion.
It was pretty good in 3D
gspendlove Gore in 3d!! I love it.
Same but I was only 11 that time
yeaa you missed out frr
This theme they chose to open it like the final destination 3 to this opening is the best. I feel like it should be the theme for this franchise. Especially when part 6 comes out.
this intro is the best of the cinema that announces the color, as much as the music that accompanies it
I loved how eerie this started with the music, and then it gets all intense. It got me really pumped up in the movie theater!

+Loquendista Italiano1 yes death is real you might think I'm crazy but I'm not I had a vision where me and my friend were on a Rollercoaster (happened in fd3 so skip) so then in real life the fan broke and I was the only one at home BTW the roller-coaster we were on it but I left with some of my friends some of them ride and they died (not surprising) and the I don't know but that happen yesterday

I’m sure someone might have mentioned it but i love that is entire opening is practical. They just threw all those things at glass

I'm not too sure. Kimberly survived so I don't think that it's for them.

I finally watched through all of these and genuinely for some reason I just love that the Music is by Brian Tyler. He also worked on the wonderful genuinely amazing music to Transformers prime and his work is just outstanding.
Since this is a prequel, I guess this is telling us what’s going to happen after all the north bay survivors die.
2 and 5 are by far, the best this franchise has to offer. But they are all fun. Can't wait for the next one.
3:40 POV: You’re Thomas Burke in the Route 23 premonition
"so what should we do for fd5's opening credits?"
"i'd say we yeet the objects that killed our previous characters to the glass"
Best intro btw dont u think
At 3:02 When Flight 180 Crash is displayed there is a 'V' sign which symbolizes that Flight 180 will be there in fifth movie. This film was the best of the series! And it had the best twist and prequel reveal in any movie ever!
Killer opening (no pun intended). I wish I knew why I put seeing this off for so long!

DUDE SAME
Especially the giant collab at the end
Same this opening is definitely impressive just like the fourth one.
Its kind of like the original Halloween franchise.
multiple morrors were harmed in the makings of this opening
Truly one of the best bit of 3D EVER!!! Saw it in cinema and was blow any by it!!!

If I was a survivor in Final Destination series,I would be like the second from last to die in list. Because being the visionary is so anxious and terrifying.
So happy 6 has been confirmed.
Great way to keep people focused on the opening credits tbh
Fun Movie Trivia: Kyle Cooper and his company, Imaginary Forces, created these credits. You may also know him as the creator of such opening credits as Seven or, more recently, Stranger Things.
Bryan Tylor.... man....i fall in love with his melody
Solid Stake yeah, the music I can listen to, though the deadly stuff makes it a bit scary for me. Just being honest.
The transition of Warner to New Line is verry cool! Waiting for Final Destination 6!

La mejor intro acompañada con la mejor banda sonora de la saga
I agree... saw this at IMAX in 3D, and it was so sick... I told everyone about it for days. This opening took me by surprise, because, though my Son suggested I see it with he and his friends, I had never even heard of FD before. I'm only an occasional partaker of horror. This is definitely one of my favorite movies, and I like the older bits, too... like the girl and flying wheel at the speedway... :D kitchen knives were fun, too. Not everyday someone is injured by exploding wine bottles!
