Hi, Chjofy here (that was my username before Adisabel). I'm the absolute madman who animated and edited this whole project. I wanted to say hi and try to make you understand the... scope of this and tell you a couple of things.
This was a big project. The biggest project I've ever worked on, at least by myself. I couldn't really even give an estimation on how much I worked on this - feels like a thousand hours.
This was my first time animating anything and I don't know how to draw so what this is is just, tracing countless frames, over and over again. If you're wondering about the framerate it should be overall around 12 frames per second, roughly one every two of the original frames.
The question that comes to mind is obvious. WHY?
Because I love Doctor Who so so dearly and I have been wanting to make a Doctor Who video for a long time but with each song I considered I eventually always came back to this idea, this song, this project.
Was it worth it?
I don't know. You tell me. I like it, but I do feel the effort might not... Show enough for the amount of time it took.
Why is this animated?
Because Doctor Who has been going on for a very long time, it looks... Different now from how it used to look, and aesthetically it really doesnt mesh, at all. Because this video with this song could only really work if it was animated. Because I had specific sections in mind and those would've only worked like this. - Фільми й анімація

This is absolutely beautiful - everything flows, and I found myself smiling unstoppably as one doctor merged into the other, one companion into another. It's a time capsule of everything that makes Doctor Who soar. Thank you for taking all the time to edit and animate this - I know how much effort that takes, but I for one am really happy that this now exists in the world.

And also because I'm out of my mind and was willing to spend countless hours on a project that was never going to make me a single euro.
Which brings me to the obvious conclusion. I cannot, obviously, make money from this video through ads or Patreon. Doctor Who isn't mine, Counting Stars isn't mine. The ads you see are making money for OneRepublic, not me.
I am currently in university and I am incredibly lucky to have the means to be able to dedicate such a big amount of time on a project like this.

Oh my God! This video made me cry, it's amazing! It captures the essence of doctor who, every detail was right and it was a joy to recognise my favourite characters in here. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making this.

I like 13 but the seasons haven't been that good. The latest is better though and I hope it gets better :)
As a doctor who fan, I can only say, "Beautiful."
This video just makes me feel excited. I think the combination of the song and the animation is seriously good. I have no words to describe the perfectness and how well thought out it was. Allons-y!

This is just a list of the things I LOVED about this fantastic animation:
At 1:03 the song went "... the wrong thing" and it showed Donna and I remembered all my feels.
When the song went "I couldn't lie, couldn't lie, couldn't lie" I loved how you showed the 10th doctors companions and changed 'couldn't' to 'could' depending on the companion.
Just loving how you gave the 9th doctor plenty of screen time.
The animation in general is incredibly smooth, it's better then most cartoons.
At 2:05 when you showed 10 and Rose with that crack between them, I thought the timing and the message were both perfect.
Totally seeing those references to "Day of the Doctor", and thinking that they were perfect.
All of those references to the Doctor's old enemies were completely identifiable. You got all of my favorite antagonists. In fact, every character you drew was easy to pick out.
That bit where you had a sequence transitioning from various doctors and various companions fit that bit of the music perfectly, and you somehow managed to convey the personality of the characters through your animation.
Lastly, the ending with the 13th doctor. Amazing. I actually haven't seen 13's seasons yet, but I am really looking forward to it.
Overall, this is such an amazing tribute, it needs so much more love from the Doctor Who fandom. 10/10.

gorgious use of rotoscoping, it's a technique that almost always ends in uncannyness unless you know how to use it... and well, you very clearly know how to use it
I love this Video, it reminds me of the first time I watched all those episodes, seasons, specials... it was beautiful I would like to watch more of it but I am not from Great Britain, only from Poland so I do not have access to all episodes because of which I am terribly sad, I hope that BBC will make other seasons and specials available on Disney+, also to make it not so, the animation is amazing and I hope there will be only more of it ❤️❤️❤️
I've rewatched this several times now, and the scene with everyone standing around the TARDIS console during Stolen Earth never fails to twist my gut and make me cry.

2:06 I love that part of the video, it reflects the doctor's attitude of never growing up but still being a wonderful Human (of course he is not) throughout his more than 900 years of life, and how even though his face changes he will always keep that childish attitude that makes us empathize with him.
