Favorite band. Grew up in the 70s and learned to play drums by playing to Doobie Bro songs. Simply, in the least, one of the greatest rock-soul bands of all time, if not the GOAT ...
First time I saw the DB was in 1976 on a TV show. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I was blown away, my jaw dropped on floor. The day after, went to the record store. Bought my first DB record, « Stamped »! And it became my favourite band since. Today I am 65, and I love them just that much, when I discovered them. Had the chance to see them « live » as well twice…….
My son & I went for my birthday, we had gotten tickets the year before but it got delayed due to Co-Vid. This was such a wonderful concert and I am so thankful for whoever took the time to record it! Great chemistry as a band and still enjoying what they do, it transcends to the audience. Hope they keep it rocking for a long time to come. Patrick Simmons was always my favorite. Such unique songs and style with just an acoustic guitar, that I've only compared to someone like Jewel, and the rest of the band was great as well. Would love to see the Best of the Doobies with an invite to a few more alumni (Baxter & Porter) for charity some time.
Went with my son for my birthday. Great Set List, wish they would have done "The Doctor" but a great show over-all! Excellent encores. Favorite Band of all time, esp Patrick Simmons.
Lounging on my sofa, day 17 of my first ever bout of COVID and I come across this recording. I have loved the Doobies since the early 70's and although I have unfortunately never seen the band live, I have had the privilege to see Michael twice here in Nottingham, UK. I adore all of you and your amazing talent and most of all, your utterly inspiring energy. More than 50 years of the pleasure you have given so many of your fans, a little of which has helped me feal better today. Much love you guys and don't forget if you ever come back to the UK, please drop by Nottingham ❤
Been listening to the since the 70's and this was 2022. Their harmonies were still there, Micheal MacDonald sounded out of place up there but Tom Johnson was perfect. Patrick Simmons was great. It was a great show, God Bless them for performing and may they keep rockin on down the highway. Thxs for the upload.
Gotta give it up to the Doobs, they still have most of their guys around and sound good. Can't say the same thing sadly for so many others touring. Chicago, Marshall Tucker and Jefferson Starship just aren't that any longer. We're going to ELO soon and have to say Jeff Lynne and his group still sound great, at least they did the last time we saw them about 4 years ago. Same for Styx, still solid.
BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally saw them in 97 in Glasgow. One off the bucket list. And STILL the finest band ever. Keep on rockin` down that highway ma brothers.

Seen a lot of bands but the sheer musicianship was astonishing.
