Oh no 😢What's your biggest challenge (if you feel like sharing)? Otherwise, we also have a video on how to cope with Sunday Scaries in case you find that relevant: ua-cam.com/video/YBI2hzQgRyE/v-deo.html
I've been going through this for a few months now, and I can't tell you what it's cost me, both personally and professionally. Every morning I promise myself that this will be the last day that I deprive myself of sleep and that I will go to bed early tonight, but when the night comes, I fail again. This has greatly damaged my self-confidence and I feel useless and unsuccessful, but now I have learned that there is a name for it. So I hope there are some techniques to overcome it. I hope I will succeed, because it is eating me up.
So sorry to hear that! Hope this video could give some first inspiration on how to start. But if you feel it gets overwhelming, don’t hesitate to seek professional help 💚
This is me for the last 25 years. I hate going to bed b3cause I hate getting up. I used to eat until I fell asleep, now I watch movies or UA-cam until my body can’t stay awake. All of life is stressful, work and home. Typically go to bed at 8PM but am up until 2 or 3 AM, then get up at 5.
Great video and a must watch for everyone who once in a while has some problems by going to bed on time. Love the tips of how to overcome this and the additional information provided around this topic. Looking forward to seeing more content from Flow Lab!
Hi, thanks for the video! I like the scientific approach you're mentioning. I'm just missing the links to the papers you're basing this on. Good articles can give you great credibility and distinguishing you even more from the quack doctors. ✌️
Hey there, absolutely! We love when people want to know more about the scientific background!💪 Here you go: - first introduction of bedtime procrastination in the scientific realm (Kroese et al., 2014) - bedtime procrastinators are 451% times more on their phone 3 hours before bedtime (Chung et al., 2020) - reasons for bedtime procrastination: bedtime routine aversion (Nauts et al., 2016), self-regulation failure (Kroese et al., 2014), negative thoughts and rumination (You et al., 2020) - pos. effects of mindful cyber leisure (Liu et al., 2021) - mental contrasting and implementation intentions (Valshtein et al., 2019)
Help I’ve been struggling with this for years now. I always fall back to going to sleep at 3:00 am. Help. I need to get up in 3 hours. Why do I do this. Stop. Help me. Please.
Boy I need to “get this”!! I do this EVERY NIGHT. I hope some kind of true understanding awakens in me!
It's also fear of the next day.

yes - even if you don't have anything 'stressful' the next day
third night in a row again
@@patrickkaleja9581 Dude, 3rd night in a row for me of no sleep and I had to get a med from my doctor. I'm not going to be a sleep martyr.
Yes I’m realizing that’s what it might be for me
