@@LostArachnid Darn Right Buddy!Born and raised! Pardon me but Do you by any chance know a way I could by any chance see the exterior (Outside) Of that location from the 80s?
There was a PTT in Toronto that was on a street named Downsview. The bots from that location got sent to the Mississauga Dixie Rd Store after being put in a warehouse for a bit while. If that was the one you were talking about at 19:14, then there was one on Jane St, and Wilson Ave. There’s literally a commercial that shows off where that Jane St one was.
Nice video, I heard about Ogden, UT PTT location is still has portrait show until 1991! But, Lake Forest location still have balcony stage until 2001, for sure!
Lake forest’s stage is technically not a balcony stage, It was an incorrectly retrofired from a portrait stage into a c stage. This makes sense as it was franchised, and the owners would have had more control over what their store would do
14:09 Where did you find that Gaithersburg photo? Also in the top left corner you can see the cabaret sign in Gaithersburgs photo. I wonder where the cabaret could be in the store? Btw I have Gaithersburg footage posted on my acc
The exterior photo in the Burnsville, MN slot (6:41) is actually Maplewood, MN (8:09). Blaine, MN (8:04) is noted as being closed in 1988, but in reality it's still open (the only PTT in MN to still be in operation as a CEC). Blaine became Circus Pizza with ShowBiz's Rock-afire show in 1988, but got bought back by CEC corporate in 1998 and still thrives. I remember there was a delay in updating the sign to Circus and the old cursive CEC sign remained out front for a few months after everything inside had been converted to Circus, including the Rock-afire show. It may have been the first "CEC" to have a Rock-afire show years before Concept Unification! The current exterior of Blaine hasn't changed too much from the PTT days. It was one of the many CECs tacked on to a K-Mart. K-Mart has long been divided up into several smaller stores, but Chuck is still there. Fill in the windows CEC has now with a solid wall, change the sign to the old cursive CEC and add a large orange & brown striped awning under it and that's the way it looked as a PTT.
None of the three original PTTs here in Oregon survived: The first one that opened in Beaverton in October 1981 (at the Beaverton Town Square mall) closed its doors in July 1985. The second one that opened in SE Portland in November 1982 closed its doors in June 2020. The third one that opened in Salem in March 1984 moved to its current location in 1989.
there was also one in Medford that was discovered to have existed from 1984 to 1986 I think some time around when the current CEC in Medford opened back in October 2024
@@WhoDidWhat17 If true, then I didn't realize that CEC's first time in Medford wasn't successful. It must have gotten caught in the financial trap that PTT suffered after its 1984 bankruptcy and subsequent merger with SBPP.
14:12 If St. Petersburg opened in 1983, why does the picture show it's Balcony Stage having the Harmony Howlette show? Which only ran from November 1981 until June 1982?
great video however a slight correction that's the Mattydale Location there's another Syracuse location that's still open you also forgot one that was in Utica from 1982-1985 Cheek Towana had one from around the same time

I find it funny how there were like 60 PTTs in Texas and only like 4 of them survived the bankruptcy
Brandon Did! 😂🎉 3:05

@EliWayneNorvell Sorry, I don't think we have found any exterior photos of that store in the 80s
👍🏻 It’s alright. Yeah I looked everywhere and Nope. Even old News Papers Online. Thank you.

It’s true Lake Forest was known as the last pizza time theater
And yeah, for Ogden Utah as well

Awesome video. I love how there are some exterior photos that I surprisingly didn't even know about. Keep up the good work!

Question, do you have any videos or photos of blaine as a circus pizza and/or a pizza time theater?

certain stores had their harmony shows until 1983, but presumably if they opened before tunnel of love came out. so this still doesn’t make any sense
can you do every showbiz pizza place & chuck e. cheese's?

It’s out!
The chuck e cheese from Bradenton Florida is now a Olive Garden I saw the stage
18:09 This is a mistake, picture is from Fontana, CA not fremont. Just thought I'd point it out 👍
Plus, there aren’t any CEC’s in Fremont except the one in Newark which opened in 1997!
I noticed most of the remaining PTTs are in California. Not sure if its purely coincidental or not.
