The reason why the "hyper queen" was cringey is because she was basically just looking for validation for what she was doing. But there's nothing wrong with women doing drag. Also, literally all of these questions have been asked and answered so many times over the years. I wish that these children would pay attention and actually watch their content and soak up an ounce of the information that is fed to them. I was excited for the panel, but this was just the same boring shit that they get asked every year.
Alaska is so into her drag persona. I feel like they completely blended in the past year or so. When you watch season 5 (2013) her character wasn't like this. She is really good at branding herself. In all stars she was already a fully developed character.

It’s interesting to the see the demographics of drag con. I guess it makes sense that a lot of the nerdy socially awkward fans of drag would go to the con because they are the typical type of person that goes to cons in general. Nothing wrong with that of course and also this is simply a generalization and something that stuck out to me in this video. They did a great job with the questions, including the awkward ones!

Lol I'm a hyper queen and I cringed at the hyper queen question too (most of the questions actually). Especially the way she phased it. Alaska has said she likes hyper queens over and over so it's kind of like unnecessary and sounds kind of needy to keep asking. It feels like something you'd just google to see if ur fave queen supports it then going to Rupaul's drag con and asking. Especially bc Rupaul was the one against it in the first place. (Although he did pull back his statement to just not wanting them on his show rather than attacking all women, both cis and trans, in their abilities as a queen.)

*2* - I really wish this panel was more structured with what they talk about, eg: so they Don’t cover topics that they’ve Already Covered previously - both on Bro’Laska, and LAST YEAR’S DragCon(!!!!!),
*3* - I wish they’d plan the audience’s questions, because the questions are always so dumb like “What’s your favourite flavour of toothpaste?”.
Over here in the UK we don’t have DragCon (Yet! Fingers crossed!). But, if we did, we wouldn’t waste it asking hella dumb questions like some of these!!!... LOL!

I also want to shout out to your brother I was in the navy did army junior rotc in Hawaii in high school.. sorry but my fear of heights when repelling for the first time was an oh S*ht what have I gotten into and then we ate old MRE meals from world war 2 that had a pack of lucky strikes and a box of matches. That is why I joined the Navy. Thank you for serving and Love you Alaska!!! fyi they took the cigarettes and matches away.
