Medvedev has to avoid such slogging in earlier rounds. One might recall that last year the fatigue factor developed by playing marathon matches right through from first round hurt him very badly in a five set final, a match he should have so easily won.
I like the great, and now well known comment regarding DM's court coverage; that "Water covers 70% of the earth's surface and Daniil Medvedev covers the rest"! Very true as well!
Yeah, the father of two doesn’t beat about the bush, he doesn’t sugar coat, he says what it is no matter what people may say, he’s not a public pleaser. I like how he’s able to get his emotions out to benefit his performance than doing so and get a negative outcome 😂😂😂😂❤
Love Daniil. He struggled against this player who hit hard and didn’t miss much in the 2nd and 3rd sets. I’m a bit wary and I hope I’m wrong but doesn’t look good if and when he meets the likes of Alcaraz and Sinner again. Don’t see what’s so different or new to his game.
@ No I get that completely. I was looking forward to seeing new and exciting things that he alluded to in pre-tournament press and all I saw was the same Medvedev (whom I love btw). He is a real problem solver and he overcame the challenge today- and I’m relieved and proud of him. But I am a little worried if I’m being realistic, as a Medvedev supporter.
@@oakleyducati1 I get your pov. Its indeed a worrying sign if he keeps playing the way he does coz that might get him over everyone else but not carlos and sinner. He needs to add more variety to his game. Ik its diff for him to muscle up or like add power to his shots but atleast the drop shots, volleys and serve needs to be much better than it was last year.
Talk about bad luck. Had to deal with Nadal and Djokovic for the first half of his career and now Alcaraz, Sinner, and you can soon count Fonseca in the new group who will give him more than he can handle.
Love Medvedev, but he isn't a contender for Grand Slams anymore, imo. Btw, his hair looks a lot thicker in this interview ... has had a hair transplant??
Daniil always has thest analyses of his matches lol Much better than the commentators
I Really like this guy very honest&says like it is I hope he wins the AO😊
Still praying for you Meddy!
Nice and insightful guy as usual
Listening to Medvedev's interviews you learn about tennis a lot. I congratulate him for having a second kid, all best wishes to them
“Daniil you know I like you, I like how clever you are, but also how crazy you can be.” Kinda sums up Medvedev
He’s genuinely honest , such a comfort to hear him at the press conference. 👍👍
Always giving great constructive, exciting interview unlike others top seed tennis players
Big scare today. uf. hope at least for a QF

I hope he gets another slam. And interview, no one is as honest and thorough as Him when answering
That comment on the solidity of the net camera is funny🤣 Love his irony. Forza, Daniil!❤💪
deep and serious, as well as realistic. for a sake of tennis he must win this tournament
I actually come to see his interviews first, before the match. Counter-intuitive but there you go... :o)

Three times lucky, Meddy the octopus 🐙🦑

It was his first match in a long time tbh

@@strangerbeing9878 Yes, thank you. That’s exactly what I mean. Easier for us to sit down and type these things but you know :)
He served well and hit 20 or some aces
Another one of those great players that will never be one of the GOATs.
He's very intelligent and funny.
Can still win this tournament but needs to show some different looks. Same patterns everytime
anyone alse without sound?
If you listen without headphones you can hear
Medvedev ٩( 'ω' )و
❤❤❤❤
Med and Rub ... i don't know what they smoke... as usual nervous e stressed

Not acceptable behaviour on court! Temper tantrums should be banned
Why do you think that? It doesn't harm anybody
No really, I want to know your perspective, I know that many people share it and I want to know why
You want them to act like emotionless robots?
@@UV0023 maybe for breaking the camera because because he couldnt control his tember.
@@VladaBB no, but they can respect things that dont belong to them, their opponent, and not do everything in their book to distract them from the game
@nikosgr9290 the camera I agree yes

Lmao please if zverev is so is medvedev
Yes, his hair is a lot thicker.
Retro is better. You could flirt. No one would get offended.
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.✨️🫅🏻✨️👏🏼🙌🏼💫...EXCEPT THE ANGER OUT OF CONTROL DESTROYING THE 🎾. REMEMBER, YOU ARE A ROLE MODEL AND CHILDREN ALWAYS WATCH YOU.😊
