man this is such a fantastic video, you got a great personality. just came across it while browsing X-T50 videos because I'm considering buying. I also have an A7IV right now and would be using this as more of a daily carry with a pancake lens - similar to what you touched on at 13:00 . appreciate the insight
Thanks for the kind words Luke! I was hoping this would be thusly helpful. Get it while you can! The lens they had on the tester cameras was so amazing image-wise but it's $1,000 and not compact. I'm mulling the options for a good pancake as well
@@thedexterbros Definitely will be ordering sometime soon here. After a good amount of looking, I keep coming back to the 27mm 2.8 from Fuji, which seems like the best available option
Are you certain that the three FS “recipes” also include your own? I thought that you were limited to using just the Fuji stable of base available options.
I am not 100% certain. I follow some fuji recipes pages and I've never seen one that doesn't begin with one of the fuji sims though. Are there any? Even when I had the Fuji x weekly app on my phone I don't remember coming across recipes that don't start with a Fuji Sim (I was futilely trying to reverse engineer them to my a7iv 😅) I'll let you know for sure soon, my unit is scheduled for delivery June 26th
I’ve had my x-t50 for a week and a half. I can only use my 7 film sim recipes when the film sim dial is set to “c” and then picking from the Q menu. the FS1-3 is just for choosing 3 of fujis sims unaltered
@@zacharyWEpoooh. That kind of sucks, if I'm reading right. So even like if I switch to the classic Chrome notch on the sims dial, it will only do default classic Chrome? I can't save my adjustments to that notch like contrast, sharpness, etc.? (My body's not here yet so I haven't gotten to dive in. 2 days away!)

I haven't messed with the zf much. I have tested the zfc and it's a beautiful piece of hardware but not feature rich enough for my taste
