In Flanders they seem to have a passion for those rectangular blocks, I see them everywhere, Leuven Gent Antwerp. The Museum with the dock is very nice though!
@@skyliner3396 in the last ten 10 years the new constructions i feel they are way better in brussels. Etterbeek city hall, silver tower BNP headquarters european council have different shapes and curves for example. Or the marcel thiry apartments are very nice too and especially they figure different colors. I see a lot of grey in Antwerp!. Regarding the period before this decade, i don't see much of a difference i see the same ugly squared buildings both in Brussels and Flanders. Like the new buildings near the station in Leuven, they are all copy paste of each other, small glass windows rectangular and then concrete
@@riccardoattilia8219 I do agree that the Etterbeek city hall, silver tower and BNP headquarters are really nice architectural additions. I am less convinced by the european council hidden egg. But yeah the architectural quality is increasing !
@@skyliner3396 i like the eu council at night, but the eu quarter still misses the building that when you see it it makes you say "hell yeah this is the building where the eu power is focusdd"
Check out the Havenhuis, Provinciehuis, Plantijn Hogeschool, Gerechtsgebouw,... I do agree, the towers at the North and Het Eilandje are a bit boring :-)
Hartelijk bedankt!
Graag gedaan ;)

I think flemish architecture is quite qualitative compared to lets say Brussels :p, but yeah they could use some more organic shapes .
