It's so obvious as to who won this challenge. The subscribers and viewers for sure! These were a blast to watch. And there's Nigel, still giving great advice in the heat of battle. Loved the zoomed in oak tree in the rain. Looking forward to seeing the One Hour Photo Challenge as a sport in the next Olympic Games!
Nigel, did Not often watch your videos. But just as with James’ videos i find them verry inspiring. I unfortunately will spent some time in the hospital, but look forward to watching all prvious videos you upload. Thank you!!!
I really enjoyed the change of pace with all three videos and seeing the different perspectives. I think I favor the village shots this round overall, but I liked your close/abstract of the tree a lot.
thank you for the integrity you showed for your fellow photographer and for the fun in this video and for the tips and tricks. Three of my favourite photographers in one video at the same time is such a pleasure. Take care and be safe out there....
Brilliant - I've seen all three now! Love how different each one is, and love what you've each found to photograph. Good fun. Well done on the effort of doing something like this.
Thank you. Doing it all for UA-cam, that is: us. We had really a lot of fun watching your competition. You are really amazing to get decent photos in the middle of the day in pouring rain.
How different these three videos are. All absolutely brilliant. You each bring your uniqueness to the challenge. Thank you so much for thinking of this and agreeing to do it and for sharing. Look forward to even more like this! I love it!
Loved the challenge! and I've watched all 3 videos. Such fun and loved seeing the different approaches to the one place. If there's the opportunity for more occasional challenges like this would love the see them.
Just saw all three of your videos. All wonderfully entertaining and as usual informative. One thing that sticks out for me as a novice is how in one location there can be so many different styles of shot, very inspiring! .. and on a time challange - thanks!
Great video guys, and so good to see how photography can help friendships develop. Sharing ideas, locations, practices etc. Good for the soul. Thank you.
Bit behind on vids as was up in Scotland but it's really interesting to see this as it's one of the few vids you have done Nigel where I really know all the locations you all shot so I can think about your approaches compared to mine re compositions. Of course, I wasn't under a time challenge!. Nice to see Mads in UK.
Great fun watching these three videos, love the challenge idea you guys have. Think I’ve got to go with James’s for the best images. Looking forward to more work from the lakes 😊
I really enjoy the challenge videos. Entertaining and lots of great tips! I normally vote team Nigel but James gets my vote this time. His style of photography and inclusion of the man made elements worked much better with the conditions :-)
Very inspiring to limit your time in a place, not having the best of light and still being able to get some great shots. So nice to watch a video and see all of you having fun doing what you love! Challenge, yes, but what a fun way to end Mad’s visit.
That was a fantastic midweek treat! Watched all 3 videos and it was great to see the differences in shooting style and each persons take on the challenge. Brilliant fun.
So fun to see the three of you doing this challenge. Great shots from all three, especially considering the restricted time frame. Also nice to see how you each have a differing shooting perspective. As noted below, it would be great to see the three of you shoot the same scene. Cheers.
Thanks for hosting the completion, Nigel, my wife and I watched all three. We subscribe to each one of you guys and look forward each of the videos you fellows produce.
I love collaborative videos like this where different people are shooting in the same conditions and location. It's fun to see how different people can find different things.
LOL, how you thought you would ever lose the other guys in a day glo orange waterproof 😂 I would have been in camo. Great fun vlogs from all three of you. Liked the gate/footpath sign and dry stone wall image where you moved the glove, very nice. Conditions were not great for anything else in the hour you had 👍
Hi Nigel, I’m really enjoying this challenge that you guys did😀. You stated that you didn’t get anything spectacular, but I really love the oak tree picture you took at the end of your vlog, I find it really beautiful.
The lovely scene at 7:05, sure, would be nice later with more colors, but I think the subtle tones of the greens are exquisite as is. And the oak and fence at 8:30 is scrumptious. I wouldn't feel you came away with nothing, absolutely not. All three videos were delightful. When am I finally going to get my sorry butt over there to the Lake District?
I've watched all three videos and for me James photos looks best. Second place goes to Mads and last is Nigel. But I think all of them are world class photos and Photographers. Learned tons of you guys. Thank you all
Nice challenge. Nigel, I love your channel, I adore your photos, but....I have to tell you very bad news: I vote for James this time.😍 Who had the idea ? James seemed to be super prepared... he even braught a tripod... looks quite conspicuous...👽
Mads: Rainbow, Nigel: Windy Road, James: Waterfall/Hut...James did seem to have more options where he went. The Mads "running montages" reminded me of the old Benny Hill show, cracked me up.
All three of your VLOGS were fun. Actually some great shots. Nigel, how come you weren't leaping over things like the gazelle Mads? Staying grounded and not leaping is probably best for you at present
Omg this is exciting. Can we have more of this? Perhaps take a playbook out of the sidemen. Rotate between you for final edits, and combine all videos in one video!
Loved the challenge. Mads gets my vote for the best video. Hysterical at times to the points that I laughed out loud (for real, not LOL). Have to give my vote to James for best photos though. Might be that his subject matter worked better in the light at that time.
Sorry Nigel, I think James had the best images this time round but great fun, please do more when possible as it shows how people see things differently
I very much enjoyed all three videos. Since the weather didn't really cooperate with you and Mads at the lake, James may have "won" by choosing the area with the most interesting subjects on this day.
I have to say i like James pictures the most and he got more "keepers", i think. He had the big advantage of using his tripod less, which was inferior to Mads and you, who stuck to the tripod :)
Ok, Mads and James to make it fair for Nigel you should have provided him with an ATV to move around the Challenge area more easily especially to keep up with Mads running around like a wild man, then he could have filmed himself changing a tire...I’m sure the way the hour went for him a flat tire was in the cards.
I love watching your videos and enjoy learning from them, but why, in a challenge like this do you guys not carry your camera by the 'hold' ready to take a pic from anywhere? Myself, I take pics everywhere and I understand that this is not necessarily the 'right' way but I see it as oppurtunistic when light changes so much.
Maybe for the next one, do a "single shot" challenge, where you are allowed to only take ONE single shot. Or you could probably expand a little to maybe 5 shots but then you have to pick the best. But you can only take 5 shots.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again if anyone of you did a workshop in the Lake District or wherever you’re at I would probably take all my money and come to attend it and probably make an idiot of myself but it would be awesome🎉
You know what would be interesting. Is to have the three of you shoot the same scene and compare and contrast the results (including post processing).
HAHA! That was such a fun morning xD
Please make another at each's home turf!

just great to see the little boys competition spirit in the 3 of you 🙂! nice happy video to get me through a dreadful working week!
Love this. I am so enjoying these videos. You three must do it again. Maybe make it an annual event. Hilarious!
Each one builds on the previous...so good. Fun and inspiring. Anxiously waiting for James' video.
Nigel, did Not often watch your videos. But just as with James’ videos i find them verry inspiring. I unfortunately will spent some time in the hospital, but look forward to watching all prvious videos you upload. Thank you!!!

Very enjoyable video! I love watching the three of you out in the field!!
Thank you. Doing it all for UA-cam, that is: us. We had really a lot of fun watching your competition. You are really amazing to get decent photos in the middle of the day in pouring rain.

Watching these 3 videos from these 3 great photographers was really a lot of fun. Very entertaining.
Loved all three videos. Great job all three of you.
Huge fun- well done all of you, smiling for the rest of the day now....
Loved the challenge! and I've watched all 3 videos. Such fun and loved seeing the different approaches to the one place. If there's the opportunity for more occasional challenges like this would love the see them.
Brilliant trio of videos, loved the different perspectives and outtakes!
Great to see you out and about and having fun. Great vid and images.
All 3 of you together - brilliant! Tree with the wall was my favourite of yours 🙂
Just saw all three of your videos. All wonderfully entertaining and as usual informative. One thing that sticks out for me as a novice is how in one location there can be so many different styles of shot, very inspiring! .. and on a time challange - thanks!
That's a lovely competition between the three of you. Watched Mads' video too. Made me smile. Thank you
Great video guys, and so good to see how photography can help friendships develop. Sharing ideas, locations, practices etc. Good for the soul. Thank you.
Great fun - the chemistry you guys have is amazing. Nicely done.
I love this video and I hope all three of you do more of these. Maybe get a few more photographers to join in.
Fun video. I recently watched Mads one Loved his music with the running.

Yep agree
I really enjoy the challenge videos. Entertaining and lots of great tips! I normally vote team Nigel but James gets my vote this time. His style of photography and inclusion of the man made elements worked much better with the conditions :-)
Brilliant, simply brilliant comedy from the 3 best photographers out there!
Great fun! Love the image from 8:30 on the time line.
Very inspiring to limit your time in a place, not having the best of light and still being able to get some great shots. So nice to watch a video and see all of you having fun doing what you love! Challenge, yes, but what a fun way to end Mad’s visit.

Superb challenge, its cool seeing each of your own style coming through at the same location
Brilliant. Really good idea and such a laugh. Thank you!
That was a great, fun competition! Thanks
Thanks for hosting the completion, Nigel, my wife and I watched all three. We subscribe to each one of you guys and look forward each of the videos you fellows produce.
Always enjoy your videos..... thanks
I really appreciate this challenge. What fun and think through, diverse options!
Very fun!
Did this in late July. Very different light but got a vertical shot of the one of the boathouse and path you were showing from Steven.
Seeing my favorite photographers enjoying a little fun competition really made my day! Thank you for putting this together!
Looks like it was a lot of fun for you, guys. For me too. Thanks 👍☺️.
What an awesome video idea - I hope there is more of the same to come. You all (as usual) took some amazing images!
Love the challenge idea fantastic fun in a great location. Loving a laugh in present times of bad news TV.
That was fun to watch. You all got such different images. You had difficult conditions but looked like you all had fun.
Quite entertaining to watch you kidz interact with each other.
I love collaborative videos like this where different people are shooting in the same conditions and location. It's fun to see how different people can find different things.
Sen all 3 now... what fun, 3 different styles
LOL, how you thought you would ever lose the other guys in a day glo orange waterproof 😂 I would have been in camo. Great fun vlogs from all three of you. Very funny video with allot of information! Great work and congrats to all of you for mastering the conditions. 🙂
Hi Nigel, I’m really enjoying this challenge that you guys did😀. You stated that you didn’t get anything spectacular, but I really love the oak tree picture you took at the end of your vlog, I find it really beautiful.
Great fun!
Really fun video 🙏
Super fun challenge! I should definitely do this more often
A challenge among top notch photographers is most inspiring!
Fun challenge!
Very nice. I vote for Nigel personality and James photos 😀
Actually, the frame at 1:25, without the gate, just the mossy wall and the tree, would be a cool photo, maybe :)
I've watched all three videos and for me James photos looks best. Second place goes to Mads and last is Nigel. But I think all of them are world class photos and Photographers. Learned tons of you guys. Thank you all
Nice challenge. Nigel, I love your channel, I adore your photos, but....I have to tell you very bad news: I vote for James this time.😍
Who had the idea ? James seemed to be super prepared... he even braught a tripod... looks quite conspicuous...👽
Grand video.. I would have left the glove on the post as something not natural.
The 3 Musketeers strike again- hilarious !!! I’m going to sit on the fence and say it was a tie!!!!!!😂
So funny and inspiring thanks for doing this 😂
Good fun. Mads..Best video
Nigel best instruction and James best pic this time. Best part is that WE win. Thanks!
Having watched all 3 videos now I'm going to have to vote for James. Good efford thought :)
so much fun … all of you
CWith your advantage you were very generous!
It is going to take time to decide which image turned out best between the three of you! 😊
With all the running Mads was doing his music should have been "Yakety Sax". He looked like he was in a Bennie Hill episode.
Sorry Nigel, I think James had the best images this time round but great fun, please do more when possible as it shows how people see things differently
Sorry but I loved James' photos best. I love his composition with the structures in the area and the red leaves on the ground.
Dont run Nigel 😀😀😀😀
Fun video 🌿
Sorry Nigel, I'm voting for James for the win. I love his church photo, the tunnel and waterfall compositions.

Really fun series of videos! You guys are so good together. Jealous of all the fun. 🤪😁
8:25 and 10:09 are my favorites.
That rainbow sabotage 😂
Maybe for the next one, do a "single shot" challenge, where you are allowed to only take ONE single shot. Or you could probably expand a little to maybe 5 shots but then you have to pick the best. But you can only take 5 shots.
Very fun to watch, and very instructive at the same time!
Next time, no cheating??
Completely blows James off. Hilarious
You guys didn't tell James about the string on his hat, ha ha.
Nigel now we you are not honest with us claiming you lost Mads 😂😂😂 and what have the world come to for James to use a tripod
Three beanies, two Sonys and a Nikon. What could go wrong?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again if anyone of you did a workshop in the Lake District or wherever you’re at I would probably take all my money and come to attend it and probably make an idiot of myself but it would be awesome🎉
Feel your pain about going low - recovering from double hip replacement.
James wins easily!
I think James won this go round
Was nice to see your rubbish photos is like me epic ones LOL
Why the blasphemy? It's highly offensive to Christians of every denomination.
I enjoy your channel minus using Jesus' name as a curse word. 😔
