Squad 44 - Private Jackson and his Springfield Hunting Germans - 4K

I've been playing this game for 6 years now but I've never really tried the Springfield rifle and I have to say without the scope it's even worse than the Lee Enfield but with the sniper scope it's a very deadly weapon in Squad 44 :)

I can't wait for the Pacific maps, most of the Marines who landed on Guadalcanal didn't get Garands, so I'm hoping their loadouts have more early war American weapons you never see WW2 games, like the M2 SMG, Johnson Rifles, and the Springfield being the main rifle

The M2 submachine gun was never issued out, only 500 of them were made. I think the gun you’re confusing it with is the M50 Reising submachine gun. These were purchased by the USMC in the early years of WWII to supplement few Thompsons the Corps had in inventory.
If they plan on adding Guadalcanal, then the Reising would actually be the more numerous submachine gun in the USMC inventory at the time. Because they were significantly cheaper than a M1928A1 Thompson (the M1 Thompson would be adopted just a few months before Guadalcanal).

You dominated. The rifle you didn't like is a M1903A3 (made by many contractors - Springfield made many different small arms). You should be using the M1911 pistol more often for close quarter kills. Its very effective.

Hatte letztens auch die Springfield. Ist ein guter Karabiner. Aber die M1 Garand ist einfach überlegen. Gutes Video.

How long does the Springfield take to reload (pass the bullet)? Is the Springfield reloading faster than the Kar 98K? That would be unfair.🤔

@@alexisbustamante1342 Thanks, but I've never paid attention to the time, but what's noticeable is that it takes ages to reload the entire magazine in this case the Springfield has by far the longest reload time in the game ;)

I think it's that the closed sights of the Springfield and lee Enfield are much more annoying to use than the kar98s open sights. You have to keep the gun below the enemy to be able to see and then put them in the circle. Seems small but is extremely irritating in regular use.
