CRIMINALLY underrated
I was born in 1990, and good or 'bad', this and 'The Shadow' (1994) have had a lasting influence on me. These films got me interested in pulp and detective fiction and later into Sherlockiana.
A very underrated movie!
This movie and The Shadow are way underrated movies. One of my favorites as a kid. Also, Billy Zane is a way underrated actor

Four classic pulp heroes hit the big screen in the 90s. Dick Tracy, The Rocketeer, The Phantom and The Shadow. I love all four. Great entertainment for everyone.
Can we all agree that regardless of how you found the film itself, the music was phenomenal?!
The film is very underrated. It's a throw back to the Indiana Jones adventure films. The score is amazing. You won't see superhero films made like this probably ever again.

I gave this a re-watch about 3 years ago and absolutely loved it. Have re-watched it twice since. Belongs right up there w/The Rocketeer. Anyone who thinks there weren't any good comic book movies in the 90s, give these two a go.

Saw this movie in theaters and till this day it’s still considered an underrated film, I wish it did well in theaters it would of been interesting to see The Phantom as a trilogy.

The Rocketeer, The Phantom, and The Shadow, and Sky Captian and The World of Tomorrow are the kind of movies the world needs now. But the three most of all. Maybe a Good Solomon Kane or Doc Savage! #Theironage
I bought this soundtrack from Amazon four years ago. Definitely worth it!

Esse foi meu primeiro CD. Na época eu ouvi as músicas desse filme em uma loja de usados... me apaixonei tanto que comprei o CD na hora sem mesmo ter aparelho em casa para tocar🙃.
Só dava pra ouvir na casa de um amigo que tinha o aparelho(então minhas visitas se tornaram bem frequentes 🤭). Guardo o CD com carinho até hoje(mesmo não tendo onde rodar 🤦🏻♀️). Podemos discordar sobre o filme ser bom ou não... mas a trilha é impecável... não há o que reclamar.💕

Funny story, I didn't like Billy Zane because of titanic but loved him after watching this movie.
He was made for this role. Too bad it didn't get the recognition it deserved.
Oddly enough Billy Zane is a huge cult film fan. He actually took. The money he made from Titanic and made an all star flick called “I Woke Up Early The Day I Died.” based on a script by....Ed Wood. :)
