I can't *like* this message enough. What a powerful reminder of so many priorities and God's desires for us in our interactions with others. I started volunteering at Community Services (aka Dorcas) 2 years ago, serving mostly homeless people with clean clothes and hygiene items. I overcame that fear and distaste for the unknown and begin to engage with them. Looking them in the eye, asking their name, shaking their hands which are often filthy with grime. Trying to be the hands and the heart of Jesus to people who are living in conditions not of their choosing. I've become an advocate, trying to educate the ignorant, who have nothing kind to say, but would not want to be in the shoes of these individuals, if they could only see how they became the way they are. Pastor Kelly is spot on when he says that we care more about a lost dog than a lost person in the world today. Lord, break our hearts for what breaks yours. 🙏💔💗
"I have come not to bring peace". 'My kingdom is not of this world". Pastor Kelly is only doing his role assigned to him by heaven to be a rumbling of the Great Shaking that is to come.
I have noticed for years now that some inside of the Church and many outside of it seem to have greater regard for their pet than for their fellow humans, the ones they encounter regularly or even those sitting in the pews with them weekly! Pets are fed regularly and abundantly, and are taken to the vet for regular medical or dental treatment while some children lack these essential services. Some pets live in air conditioned comfort and warm comfy beds while some children tough it out in shelters or under trees near bridges or overpasses. When are we going to get it right? The heart work has got to be done soon! We are running out of time. Help us Holy Spirit!
Like the Lord says" dont judge by the outward appearance". We have to remember the girl that followed Paul and Silas around in the Bible, repeating" these men are of the Most High God, they show us the way of salvation", and she was possessed by a demon and Paul knew it and commanded the demon to come out of her. The spirit of prophecy says that people look only for people that are writhing on the ground, foaming at the mouth and so on , as being demon possessed, but thats not true. Spirit of prophecy says, the demons can be oh so nice, sweet and kind while possessing people, when it serves their wicked, evil purpose. Im just adding some more info. Amen
Pastor after listening to your sermon I have to ask this question, what happened to the commonality among brothers and sisters in our sad. Church. What has the church done for his members, and the community from covid shut down to today ?
The intro music to videos is to worldly with drums etc best is real fine instruments and the live services saw for a minute the skirts are way to high..even mid thigh..need to be below the knees..Bible says He has no pleasure in seeing legs..are we a movement or a club
