I agree with you; part of it is marketing and part I think is just that Peter seems to be by nature a tinkerer who just can't help but tinker and change things. It's a style.
Sorry I missed the 'live' the other day, but by the time I saw the notice, it was too late. New job? Retirement lasted well 😁 Soap base : How very dare you turn up and NOT have the latest and greater than the greatest one before it, and the time before that base! 😂
Not a problem mate. The retirement was enforced, in effect it was redundancy, and I always intended to find something else to do. I'll endeavour to continue using my stock of old soap bases, cos most of them are pretty good and I've a very high FOMO threshold 🤣 👍

Aylsworth now make plus plates for both the Drakant and the Kopperkant.
Thought they did, but standard plate in the Kopperkant gives a really comfy, efficient shave 👍

The stand cost something like $30 extra, mate. There was a brief time when there were included.
I got mine 'used' and for a good price, so a bit of a billy bargain I reckon 👍
